Seoul Grand Hostel EWHA Univ.

The workers here are so kind and friendly! The breakfast was good as well and the atmosphere here was very warm. I will book again if I happen to visit again.

Check-in/out and the hostel's rules were very easy to understand and follow. The hostel itself is located near many bus stops and a train station, making it easy to get to from the airport and easy to travel from. I especially liked how there were so many food option around for a quick meal.

Room was smaller than I expected, but was enough since it was just me staying there for a few days. The bedsheets smelled a little funky too, so I had to use my own blanket and lay a towel over the pillow.

The room was clean, nice, and warm. My friend and I booked the bigger room (supposed to be for 4 pax, but there were only 2 of us, so it was very spacious and comfortable for us to open our big suitcases), and the room was very comfortable. Although it was said that the toilet is quite small, but I think it was not that small. The toilet has bidet! So happy with it. The wifi works really well.All the amenities provided are superb. Extra towels, tissue, plastic trash bag are provided in the common area and we could get it very easily. The hairdryer and hair straightener worked very well that I did not use mine at the end. There are an area where we could store our luggage while waiting for check in. There are luggage scale too! In the common area, the host provided stationaries, and other stuff that sometimes us as traveller forgot to bring or purchase in the convenient store, and we could get/purchase it there.The location is really great. It's very close to Ewha University Station (only around 1 minute walk). Also, it is walkable to Sincheon area where a lot of restaurants etc. In terms of the area, it is still near if we often go around in the central Seoul area (you do not need to spend too much time in the subway).The host is very responsive 24/7 and very very helpful. I would love to stay again in this place if I visit Seoul again someday.

It would be great to have a full-length mirror in the room so guests can easily check their outfit before heading out ?

The location was great, right next to the universities so in a busy area. Also, the host was super responsive and always helped out immediately when I needed something and that was super helpful throughout my stay. The common area had a lot of resources with a kitchen, microwave, extra towels, a steamer and most other things you would need. Additionally, the property was also very quiet so that is not an issue at all.

Nothing much, just expected a slightly larger room but everything else was great.

You have everything you need at your disposition even for laundry ! I personally really loved the location close to Hongdae and you can travel easily to other places in Seoul. Quite convenient to go to the train station also

shower is a bit difficult to use without curtains but in Korea it is normal to find shower like this

I had a fantastic stay here! The accommodations were great, with excellent facilities that made my trip so comfortable. The best part was how easy it was to get around. The location is incredibly convenient for exploring Seoul, and even getting to and from the airport was a breeze. Highly recommend!

the location is great, we mostly travel by bus or metro and both are close. all amenities and facilities were great, the common area support whatever you might need (kitchen, cleaning stuffs, umbrella for rent, hairdryer, iron, washing and drying machine, etc). overall it was a great stay.

i understood that the wall is thin. so we try to be as silent as possible to not disturb other guests. but we were unlucky enough that on the third day, the room beside us were some loud girls. we understand your excitement, girls. we were too, but it was freaking 1.30 AM, and we needed sleep. we knocked on the wall and they managed to lower their voice. the night after, my husband had to knock their door on 01AM.another thing is the bathroom in our room probably need repair for the exhaust since it was not working at all. our bathroom was nor dry at all ever during our 6 nights stay. thankfully i could not see any mold, so we did not complaint during the stay.

Quiet, clean, easy to check in.

Extremely attentive staff, amazing location off of Line 2. The area has all the amenities you’d need that the hostel does not offer. I love that the owners created a “travel wall” that former hostel guests can leave notes on. It was beautiful seeing notes from around the world.

The bed felt like it was a boxspring with no cover/topper. Whilst I didn’t expect much from it due to the price/Hostel turnaround rate, I had hoped it would have been more comfortable. I’d prefer a futon to a rigid bed!

All necessary facilities are available and the staff responded very quickly and well.The location is superb.

The room is not soundproof. It disturbs our sleep at night, especially if someone stays beside our room.The bathroom is super small.The bedsheets and towels are not sparkling clean.

The accommodation had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was the little things that really stood out (power adaptors, hair dryer and straightener, fresh towels to swap over, cold and hot water dispenser etc).The host was responsive and helpful with our late check out (at additional charge but extremely cheap).

The shower head was a bit low and over the sink which made it difficult to wash our hair.

Location was great. Direct bus line from airport was a bonus.

Good, everything you need is in there, what i really like is theres a lot of Tissue. especially we were there on a winter season January. we will book again here, if we go back again in Korea, because the price is cheap and near in Subway station. MAMA's Touch RESTAURANT is near there You should eat there!! is very delicious and price is reasonable.

Nice location, no doubt. Only 5 mins walk from subway station.

Stay for two nights but have not seen any staff over this period. The second night they ran out of their clean towels and only said sorry to us without any attempts to make it up. They said it only on social media as we tried hard to reach them.

This is a great place to stay in Seoul, especially when it comes to the ratio quality/price/location. I like to stay in a comfortable and safe place, and that is exactly what this hostel is. It has private rooms, each with a bathroom inside the room (even though not very big, it serves well its purpose). There is also a common area in which you have microwave, free drinkable water, fridge, a kitchen, etc. You can also borrow several appliances such as phone chargers, books, blankets, even umbrellas. It is clean and quiet. The manager is also very nice! It is honestly a great place to stay. I have stayed here several times and it never disappoints.

There is nothing in particular that I disliked. If I had to mention one thing it would be that it is a little difficult to fixate the shower head when taking a shower.

The location is very good, near MRT just around 300 M walk from EWHA University Station.

The elevator had problems 2 times during I stayed, I walked from the ground to the 7 floor that it is not okay, very tried. T_T

The best thing about this hostel was location. Less than 5 min away are bus stops and subway and there are no mountains to climb to reach the place. The room was good, although it looked a little worn and the bathroom was on the smaller side. Still, if you mostly need a place to basically just rest at night, then this is more than enough. We really appreciated the washer-dryer and a full-fledged kithcen in the common area.
