Hotel The Designers Seoul Station

Super easy to check-in, with friendly, attentive, professional staff round the clock! Elevators, hallways, and rooms all quiet and well-kept. Subway station literally right outside the door of the hotel, and a block or two down from Seoul Station.

Location is good.

The air ventilation is bad in winter as the warmer makes the temperature too high, requested to turn off the air-conditioner and open the window to overcome

Clean, comfortable. Decent location -- airport bus was just a block or so away.

The room was gorgeous-we had a great view! The location was excellent-right near the subway.

Free breakfast was only served between 730-830 and we wanted to sleep In on the weekend so we missed breakfast each day. The Sauna that they have is only for men. That was really upsetting.

lots of street traffic noise on lower floors, due to that and also no english news (No CNN, BBC, or FOX at all)... checked out and left after 1 hour from checking in.

I was quite happy to get a room here, especially the corner room I wanted. One of the main reasons I wanted this room was for the view and it did not dissappoint: higher floor, with Namsen tower right smack opposite of my bedside window made everything worthwhile. It was the perfect view of the hill with the N Tower as one could relax in a huge tub. It also had a shower in modern colours and an ongoing dynamic panoramic view that was breathtaking at night. You could lower blinds or enjoy views from every window. The trains were not at all too loud and the room was quite spacious. I loved the bathroom and views! It is right there at the station, too.

My only complaints was the hallway to my room and the details inside the bedroom were all a little dated. The hallway had a strong cleaning scent and reminded me of some creepy hospital and it was not a pleasant oder, nor a pleasant feel. A revamp of the hall is much needed. Touch up to paint and things were needed in the room but not very obvious. The Designer hotel needs a designer sofa and chair or designer painting. Interior - needs more "The designer" aspect or revamp. (Bathroom was great- not needed there).

I noticed in bathroom there was mold on floor behind tub when I went to shower which made me think they don't deep clean the rooms often.

It has only Korean adapters, so better if you get an adapter to charge your phone if you have different output. Staff never told me they have adapters at reception until I almost left. I grabbed one to charge my phone for a little bit but the adapter didn’t work so I had to ask for another one. Luckily they have one more. Also breakfast is not included so you pay for it if you like.

Really liked everything about this place. The location was great, there’s a subway entrance literally right in front of the door that will take you pretty much any place in Seoul. The adjacent Neighbourhood is vibrant and has a lot going on at night, definitely very walkable and interesting. The rooms were decent sized and the bathroom was nice. Only two washers and dryers, but they are large and can handle a good sized load of laundry. Did not get a chance to try the breakfast, but there are a lot of options for that relatively close.

Nice hotel with a lot of luxury and not extremely pricey. People working at the reception were super gentle

The location was wonderful. One stop away from Seoul Station and entrance to the hotel is steps from Exit 10 of the subway stop.

I didn't like the bathroom layout. Having lived in Korea and visited many times, I've seen this kind of layout before, but I wish maybe they'd at least copy the Japanese style bathrooms instead of having tile that has the potential to be very slippery in the shower, and also have the toilet in the same enclosure.

It was clean and had a nice view of the city. Right next to metro stop.

No towel hook near the shower. Hard to get in/out of the shower tub. Water went everywhere. There was a kettle but no convenient place to plug in. Not much counter space in the bathroom. Bad lighting in the bathroom.

very clean and great staff. huge bathtub. small room, but enough space. very quiet. view out the windows wasn't gross. comfortable bed and covers.

the bathroom had no vent. the extension on the right of the bathroom sink was pointy, and I hit my funny bone on it... very painful. the fridge wasn't very cool, and condensed all over my food. the gym was very small and had very little equipment. they only have a sauna for men.
