Hotel The Designers Jongro

My unique hotel room & it was very clean & everyone was nice.

I didn¿t like the first room i was in (it did not look as advertised) however i was told to pay $20 extra a day which i did & i was moved to a really nice room which i loved the uniqueness

Near bus and subway

The bathroom, when taking shower, water split everywhere ơn the floor .Toilet/ bidet is not clean!

We found this location perfect for our stay, walking distance to many sights.

The only disappointment was our room had no shower, just a bath with a hand held hose. Which we are simply not used to!

The location of the hotel could not be any better, right in the centre of Myeongdong. Transportation through the city was a breeze through transport and walking distance. Would recommend!!!

The location is very good, easy to commute to many key places in Seoul, walkable distance to Myeongdong street and the hotel staffs were also very helpful.

The cleanest (a lot of dust) and room condition can be improved.

The lighting in the room was vert poor, I signalled one broken light - doubt it it could have improved much, but for the length of my stay it could have at least improved. Never repaired during my stay.

nice room with comfy bed. no kitchenette, but there is a kettle for some tea or coffee, and a fridge. enough space for 2 people. TV with lots of korean channels. all in all a very good stay

The lobby was clean and the condition of the room was so good. A variety of snacks and drinks were available in the lobby, so the interior of the various books was very satisfactory. There was also a wow pass machine, so it was easy and convenient to use. The room was also clean and I could enjoy various alt services, and thank you for your kind response. 100% willing to revisit!

location was fantastic.A lot of restaurant, cafe and pub around.bus stop and subway station was 5 minute away.We can buy instant noodles, drinks, ice cream at the hotel.

However The air-conditioner was really noisy.Duvet cover has a hole.We got room cleaning everyday though there was always dust.I asked if there is laundry room, They said NO.and I asked if there is laundry shop around hotel.they said I need to have a look myself. It wasn't really helpful. sounds like they don't want to spend time to talk and help.hope they would be kinder.last year, I was staying in hotel in Seoul. I have paid less than The designers hotel jongro.But all the aspect was much much better.It was good spend moneyhowever, The designers hotel jongro are not worth.could be better.Thank you.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The bed was super comfy, and I really appreciated having a safe in the room for my valuables. The place was clean, and the location was perfect for visiting nearby temples and attractions. I also liked that they had snacks and drinks available on the first floor, and the microwaves on each floor made it super convenient to heat up food.I recommend !!!

The Russian speaking guy that cleans the floors (Vladimir) was amazing and helpful.

Photos are catfish. Rooms are small. Staff speaks ZERO english. Horrible.

I visited the hotel again. I was really surprised. The room was remodeled.... And a lot of menus have been added to the canteen on the first floor. Very good. AgainI'll visit you!

This is a love motel, not for tourists

So dirty in the room. This is so called "love motel", not even a hotel where you can rent a room for several hours during the day. This is not definitely a place for tourists. If you are a budget tourist, please go to a hostel or cube bed place. You don't want to hear any strange noise during the day waiting for the elevator. I saw bunch of fallen hair and hair band next to the bed. When I complained to the receptionist, he said how clean is in the eye of the beholder. The bed was stone stiff, hurting my back.

Good location. comfortable and spacious rooms.

The glass bathroom door was wobbly and hanging on the top hinges. it felt like the whole thing would come crashing down if you didn’t close gently and in the process of closing gently, you might end up hurting your finger as we did. Strange mechanism. Staff could be a little more friendlier/helpful towards foreigners who struggle to speak Korean. They seemed a little uninterested and cold compared to other hotels we stayed at in South Korea.

Location is great and the bedsheets were clean

Holes in the ceiling & bathroom, rusty, patchy paint on the walls, broken mirror/ light in the bathroom, cupboard door that wouldn't close, stained towels. I didn't get into the room properly until 23:00 or I'd have complained. You can definately get more for your money elsewhere, I've stayed in better hostels. Big case of IG Vs Reality on this one. Completely battered and run down (as in literally falling apart)

I checked out a little before 13:00 and they charged me. Check out time is 12 noon.

Surrounded with dirty environments, not clean bed covers, tiny room..the photos look amazing but different in reality.
