Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Myeongdong

Short walking distance to places. Very convenience.

Receptionists were rude to me when checked in. When I asked if I could have a room with higher floor, she said you paid for average room. I don't understand what her meant. I asked business hour for the underground shopping plaza, she said I don't know.

We arrived after an 18 hour flight and the let us do a really early check in. It was super easy and all the staff very nice.

It is near a lot of restaurants , the big shopping myeoungdong district , about 10 mins walk from the hotel and close to department stores like Shinsaege (5mins on foot) lotte department store( maybe 15 mins on foot) and Seoul station(5 mins by taxi) as well as across the road from namdaemun market. Also there is the N. Tower looking down at you.

I wish they had toothbrush and toothpaste in the rooms. Miss those days, but it is what it is .

Clean room , modern decoration , breakfast with variety of selections, good location away from the crowd but still. Convenient.

Breakfast buffet is a thing one must try here! Great variety, quality and taste, and it keeps you worry-free about finding local decent breakfast spots. Also Ethernet connection in the room was appreciated, as well as drinking water dispenser with unlimited water.

Dinner buffet is a bit on a pricey side. Also the dimmed light would be better. Station shuttle schedule is not that convenient.

Great location in the middle of it all. Super friendly and communicative staff and room met expectations. Gym was a great bonus!

The room was clean and fresh, delicious food, very nice of the staff, and 1st floors Staff was kind and friendly.

The check in process was quick and smooth; the staff is very helpful and customer oriented. The concierge service is amazing !!!

We loved our stay! It was in a great location, safe and clean!

Short walking distance to subway entrance, Myeong-dong Market and other entertaining locations and food. View of Seoul Tower. Our room (Junior Suite) was perfect for a 16 night stay. Large bathroom, spacious layout. Gym was not crowded and always clean.

No swimming pool, restaurant is expensive, not enough cabinets to store clothing in.

The room was spacious (enough to fit an extra child's bed without feeling overly crowded), and it had a great view! The room was clean and smelled nice. The bathroom was exceptionally clean, which is a personal plus for me^^

We saw a lot of tour groups (from the US) and flight attendants at the hotel, so it's not necessarily a family-friendly hotel, which we didn't realize because Courtyard Marriott hotels in the US often cater to both business and family clientele. **However, for a business client-based hotel, I thought the hotel staff were very kind and accommodating to our rather large family party, which included two toddlers and several grandparents.

Great location, breakfast is wonderful, weather is nice , city is green and clean and safe for people to walk around.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Seoul! The room was spacious, spotless, and well-equipped with all the facilities we needed. The location was absolutely superb — close to everything yet peaceful. Given all this, the price felt very reasonable.

If I had to mention one small downside, it would be the room service which wasn't particularly punctual.

The location is within walking distance to where all the shopping and market is, but located far enough to have a quiet night stay. Area felt safe and never had any issues walking at night. The hotel kept us well informed of political rally that happened on the day of our arrival.

It’s a big property, rather comfortable and clean.

Breakfasts are delicious, but the atmosphere is really hectic.

It was really near Namdaemun market and also walking distance to Shinsegae and Myeongdong Walking Street

A bit of a walk to Meyongdong, plus need to go down the subway to cross the street, made it a bit hassle if you have strollers or many things. Subway to city hall is a bit of a walk , and the station is so big

Very close to Myeongdong and Namdaemum traditional market. Nice very big space inside of room but clean and convenient. Nice breakfast and service in 1F lobby in good!
