Location

The photos of the room are not at all like the actual rooms. The towels were ragged, bed sheets stained, debris left under the bed, paint peeling from the bathroom ceilings, mildew in the shower, leaking shower...

The front desk staff was very kind. The maid service was attentive and regular. Internet fast. Amenities such as a refrigerator, bath robe and slippers were nice. The spa downstairs was convenient though I wish it had a Korean sauna and bath area.

The website was misleading. Showed a gym but there was no gym.Also showed washers and dryers for guests to use. This wasn't the case, just over-priced hotel laundry service provided. The breakfast items were never refreshed despite a huge restaurant staff

Location, big bed, free bottled water. Size of room was great for 2 people. USB outlets were handy. Selection of TV channels was great. Temperature controls were great.

Sink and toilet were old, despite being in a recently renovated washroom. Not enough towels provided. No tissue boxes. Room was cleaned a few times despite the 'Do not clean' indicator on our room.

The Hotel employees were super nice and helpful, the hotel is right next to a Starbucks and a block away from one of the street markets and tonsss of stores nearby

Great location.

Very happy with my stay at the Hotel. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Always greeting you with a smile and happy to help with any queries. The room is spacious and comfortable. The bed is huge, big tv and a wardrobe including hangers. The shower was lovely and hot with a good spray. Literally across the road from the markets and few minutes walk away from buses and trains. I liked the fact each room has an airconditioner/heater that you can adjust to your preferred temperature.

The only thing that dropped the hotel to 9 points instead of 10 was the internet connection seemed a bit unstable as mine dropped out quite few times.

Front lobby clean, staff excellent and spoke English and were very help! The breakfast was great and great value. The location of the hotel was close to lots of markets and walking distance to the old place and the old village and the folklore museum. It was by chance we went to the folklore museum as we were heading back to our hotel and 1 person in our group (6 friends) said let’s have a look and I am so glad we did!! The grounds were great and lots of statues etc but the museum that was free entry and was amazing!!! Set out so well and full of beautiful history. It is set out from birth to death and everything in between getting married, having babies and all the Korean traditions. Truly worth a visit!! The last screen video was young babies and children and adults on the other side was older people, grandparents and friends? the most beautiful words need the video along a very old man and words were : “When I was young, there were many tomorrows, but as I grow older, there are many yesterdays. As tomorrow must all become yesterdays, today is only a moment “

The rooms were a bit tired and the mattress was soft so it needs upgrading. The room was clean and shower excellent. Had kettle in room and fridge. A seven eleven around the corner to buys spirits and wine and snack food.

Breakfast was a good blend of western and eastern.Staff have good English.Although our room was next to the lift we had little noise.

The hotel is a little tired.

Comfortable clean and good location

Short distance to Seoul National University Hospital and other city centre attractions

We booked Superior Family Room which includes 1 single bed and 1 double bed. We were two adults and two kids. Elder kid would take the single bed and double bed would be for parents with younger kid. However, we were charged for the extra child even though he was 9 years old and would share the double bed with his parents. This was disappointing. Staff was also not pleasant and stated that this was normal to charge extra in hotels in Korea and Japan. We travel a lot and normally, this is not the case. If the child shares the bed with parents, there should be no charge and children are welcome in good hotels. But we were not welcomed in this hotel. This was our first impression not only of the hotel but of the country. And it is sad that this kind of experience leaves bad impression of the country we are travelling to.

A bit dated, also a bit overpriced.

The staff were helpful when we were there. Location was great, super close to public transportation, there's a Starbucks right next door, which is convenient. Nearby area is packed with restaurants and market. Overall we had a good stay.

The room temperature could be a bit high, the minimum temperature was 18 degrees, but at night it could feel like 25 degrees. We had to kick off our blanket in order to sleep.

It’s the city center, local market is close to the hotel. The underground station is close to the hotel as well.

The room was shabby, too small bathroom.

The place was very nice. Jongno 5-ga Station was close, Gwangjang Market was close, and the area was nearby.There are also two Starbucks.It was very attractive to see Namsan Tower as soon as I left the hotel.I like that early check-in is possible.

The towel smelled so much like bleach that it was painful to use.

The staff was very friendly. The location was perfect: The hotel is near the subway and bus stations. All in all a great experience and very recommended!
