Bad, really really bad, probably one of the worst stay i have ever had in Korea

It was very disgusting, they didn’t even clean the slippers, it has all kind of previous travelers’ dead skin….. it was too gross that we would rather wear our own running shoes after shower. And the bidet has excrement on it. The bath tub also has pink stain. I would never come to this hotel again, I was staying at designer ddp hotel last time, not sure if they are related but it was a really pleasant experience and that was the reason why I booked this hotel without researching at the beginning and found out they are not the same at the end. Spacious room and value for money

Is abit far away from the train station. But along the way to the station, there is many womenswear wholesale mall which is good shop .

The room was decent and spacious for the price.

Is a little far from the subway station but along the way there many womenswear wholesale mall . We have to always call the reception for towel replacement as they always give us only one piece towel, which is irritating when we checked in as couple.

Overall experience would be 6/10. Please, take into consideration that there are 2 The Designers Dongdaemun so check which one you need to go to before arriving. Other than the location, it'd say the "value for money" is correct at best. I was supposed to get a "Deluxe Room", but I highly doubt what I got is what most people would consider "Deluxe" in a 3-star hotel. Pros: - Big, comfy bed- Shower & bath - Clean towels every day- Good location; subway close by.- Right next to a 7eleven.

Cons:- Staff barely acknowledges you when you go in & out. Some don't even look up from their computers unless prompted. - Room service is way below par. They only actually made my bed one out of the seven days of my stay. The rest of the days, they'd simply pull up the quilt and throw the pillows somewhat on top of it. They didn't change the sheets even when I unwillingly stained them with chocolate milk on my third day. They also didn't clean the toilet nor the bath (first night had to run water to it, I could see the layered dirt going down the drain). No dusting whatsoever. I also left two hotel provided robes on the sofa and there they stayed for the entire week. - Only three hangers (if you don't count the one rocking from the ceiling)- They didn't replace the soap bar.- The mini fridge was broken on the inside- And lastly, there were several things that needed fixing and were just there. There was actual tape to keep bed bars in place, one with a very appealing hanger ceiling high included (/s). The tap at the sink was broken and re-attached with plastic flanges. If you can't afford anything else and are staying for a week or less, maybe I'd say go for it but expect things not to be so good. If you plan on staying longer, I wouldn't do it.

The room was clean and very warm due to the floor heating as it was very cold outside.

The first room I was given was absolutely disgusting. Dirty sheets, dirty looking floor. It was the worst room I have ever seen! I went to the desk to complain and they just handed me a key to another room without a question. The new room was ok even if it looked a bit worn in places and the bath tub was a strange arrangement as you could not use the shower without water getting everywhere. There was a big problem with electrical outlets. There were only two in the room. The one above the desk looked so dangerous I did not want to touch it. The second one was loose on the wall but did work. However, it was too far from the bed for the phone charger lead to reach. I asked downstairs and happily they produced an extension cord. The design of the room was a little strange. It felt a little like a prison cell. The staff were welcoming and mostly nice. It was great to be able to leave the suitcase in the lobby for the afternoon of the check out.

The location is centralized

The room is dirty and dusty。The bedsheet is not changed despite it is stained. The staff are not friendly and not able to speak simple English. Not recommended for the stay in this hotel

The air conditioning unit was pretty loud. Room was a little out-dated, with limited electric outlets; no modern charging units.

I wished they had more informations at the front desk like maps, suggestions on trips, spa and etc

The location. It is definitely the best if you want to visit many places all over seoul but that is all

The dirtyness. The room was old and in bad shape, the sheets had stains in them and so did the whole room. The staff barely spoke. I said I can do korean but they decided to just use hands and barely told me any information both during check in and check out. All I heard was sign please and bye. I dont recommend visiting

Hotel is good to stay. Just only short hair, glasses woman staff was not.

One staff who wear glasses, short hair, woman in the morning was not a good manner. I asked her just only one question, she answered me with bad voice, looked annoying me. Even she worked hard on that day or something made she in a bad mood. But why I was a person who supported that emotion. I just arrived there and asked her first question. However, another staff were good and helpful.

The hotel was clean and it was an average-sized room. The toilet bowl and shower shampoo, conditioner and body soap were great

The staff were not that friendly when we spoke to them or asked them for help (replied curtly) but also the facilities were minimal - the charging hole was difficult to find (it was under a flap) and the only mirror was above the sink. The water from the tub kept splashing onto the floor as there was no shower curtain, and overall the facilities were just minimal.

Price and position of the hotel were quite good.

The hotel was not properly clean, probably for a long time. Air cond smells like mold. I had to change my original room due to a finger of dust everywhere and serious mold in multiple colors. My second room was nice but there was also some mold in the bathroom and dust everywhere. A good price this time proved to be a trap...Stuff is limited with English skills.

I like the location of this hotel.Also, there is a convenience store right next to the hotel, which is convenient.

The facility is just dirty.The interior was in shambles, and the bathrooms were soaked because there were no shower curtains in the bathrooms. As the name "designer" implies, the design is so focused on design that no thought is given to how it will be used. The air conditioner has only four settings 18, 21, 24, and 27 degrees Celsius, and even if you change the setting, the wind keeps blowing against my face when I sleep. I’m sorry but, I will never stay here again, except for the location and the price.

The room cleaning wasn’t that good

The location is great, convenient and the parking is comfortable.

The basic supplies are not provided. The room is not maintained well, and the furniture is old, scratched, and damp . Not clean. At night you can hear noises coming from the walls (pipes etc.). When the fridge was opened it was boiling, safety hazard. The building is also very old. This hotel/building probably hasnt been inspected for a very long time. It is best to spend your hard earned money somewhere else.
