    Pros +

    • Because it's a boutique loft it has a different set up than most hotels, for example having a bath in the room. Shower and the toilet were separately. A sink in the room by the window. It was a different experience in a good way. While you stay there- there's a gym next door and go check out the awesome Owl's House (부엉이산장) nearby for a dinner.
    • Everything. Staff was super friendly and helpful.Room is huge and very convenient just like home
    • Conveniently located next to metro station and lots of food options just around the corner

    Cons -

    • I took one of cup to have a tea, but the bottom of it was still a bit dirty.
    • A bit dark
    • Form won over function. We enjoyed the mix of industrial and contemporary design of our spacious jacuzzi room - brick, leather chair, quality bedding, and upscale bathroom. What the online photos did not reveal is the minimal space at the bedsides which required a person to turn sideways to exit the bed area. Also, there was only one comfortable chair for sitting to read, etc. For a room its size, one would expect it to accommodate two people. Another matter that impacted our opinion of the property was the lack of interest or helpfulness of the front desk staff - my husband and I were lugging four pieces of heavy luggage while wearing our backpacks but neither staff in the lobby offered to help.

Gorgeous, vibey property. Friendly staff. Great room. Soooo comfortable and cozy. Loved the Halloween decorations, too!

    That we didn’t stay longer

    8SaePosted on: 10-25-2025

Jacuzzi in the exterior of the room, unique style of the room, free laundry service, convenient location

Unfortunately there was no heating available so we were little cold

    4ChungPosted on: 10-22-2025

I didn’t have breakfast there. There were pictures of breakfast in elevator you can buy in hotel’s cafe, but looks untasteful.

No central heating and air condition system in this hotel but only portable air conditioning.Cooling air were blowing all night long and I was feeling cold during the night. They said they only turn on heater by water boiler during the winter cold season. Young people may be tolerable with this ,but senior citizen like myself and my wife was not able to tolerate this cold environment in hotel room. I read out side evening temp was 56-65F.They said turn off the air conditioner fan. This hotel is very old . Front desk is located in small space and the gate to the hotel felt like it was leading into some kind of warehouse. MY Room was big enough for two people ,but didn't feel cozy. When I was in and out of hotel, I smell and getting headache with raise my eyebrows. There is unpleasant odor in elevator and hotel room hallway. I saw air freshener scent bottle on top corner of elevator. I was wondering that odor came from that air freshener. Please keep in mind that If you loose your room key card, you have to pay $10,000KW(korean currency)I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

Really happy with the size of the room and facilities within it. The location is also really close to Dangsan train station and a few bus stops

The room did only have one window in the bathroom that looked into the hallway of the next building so not worth opening the blinds. The lighting was also a bit dark. Liked it for the vibe but an option for a brighter light would be nice since there is close to no natural light.

    Very spacious.

The layout was very weird, I had a room with a L shape layout. The hardware of the place was kind of old and setup weirdly. I personally hate rugs and anything with fluff and fur because I just find them dirty, and they had those under and on the couch so I didn’t bother touching it.

The location was perfect for what we wanted. The hotel staff were so great! They were polite and friendly and very helpful. The room was cleaned beautifully and they laundry service was quick and easy.We will definitely stay again.

The man at reception was able to help us get a taxi to a new hotel

The room is not what it is as advertised. It was so dirty we had to get a new hotel last minute, only to be charged for the night. So disappointing. The walls were filthy, everything was dusty and stained and the bath tub was pink with dirt. There was no city view as advertised, there were actually no windows. It reminded me of a dirty dungeon and was really depressing. They advertise the best hotel awards from 2015, I don't think anything has been referbed since then.

Location, room size, cleanliness, WiFi speed.

Just minor issues. I would expect some wardrobe instead of the clothing rack. The lights switch was annoying in the night as they were flashing brightly in the night. A bit small window, not much light during the day, albeit the bathroom lighting was quite bad if someone needs to put some makeup on.

The room was a nice size and the bath tub and the shower were excellent. The location was a short walk to Dangsan Metro Station, which is great for travelling all around Seoul.

My friend and I chose this hotel because of the location, pictures and reviews, so we were looking forward to our stay at Hotel Loft, but it was not as expected. The room was dusty and the lamp above the sink was flickering and very dusty too. We asked the staff to fix the light, which they did very quickly, but they did not remove the dust. The room is also not sound proof so you could easily hear noise from other rooms. There was a large massage chair placed in the middle of the only open space in the room and while it was fun to try it, I did not really understand the purpose of having it in the room. It seemed a waste of space. There were a few of the staff members that we interacted with that were nice and helpful, but most of the team did not seem interested in interacting with us at all. Overall I was quite disappointed with the experience, because the reviews of the hotel seemed very promising.

I like everything about this hotel. Therefore, I kept coming back. The room layout is the best thing. Look very elegant and spacious. The second thing is the location. Two stops metro away from Hongdae, easy to reach with the night bus too.

    So far, nothing.

I came to Seoul for an event at Goyang Stadium (to the west of the city), but had had problems trying to find availability of accommodation near to the Stadium. However, Hotel Loft turned out to be a really great choice for several reasons.Firstly, the hotel is just a 5-10 minutes walk from both Dangsan metro station (subway lines 2 and 9; exit 12) and various buses. I ended up taking bus 9707 to get back from the stadium to the hotel even though it was after 11 pm. Equally, the transport links make it easy to go eastwards or north of the river to get to central Seoul.Secondly, Dangsan is not a touristy part of Seoul. However, I think because of a nearby convention centre, there are loads of restaurants and bars nearby serving food until late. I had fun experiencing one of the nearby 24/7 coin noraebang (karaoke booths). Conversely, there are loads of places nearby for breakfast on the go (as well as Starbucks, Paik's Coffee, etc). There are also 24/7 mini marts nearby, such as 7 Eleven and CU. If I needed to rehydrate any food, such as ramyeon, there was a kettle in my room, and there was a communal microwave near the elevators for my floor. The hotel otherwise has an on-site option for breakfast or dinner, or can do room service.Thirdly, the room I got assigned (605) was spotlessly clean and super comfortable. The bed was massive! The room had its own internet connection, and the hotel had provided everything from device charging plugs to complimentary bottles of water in the fridge.I don't understand some of the negative reviews on here regarding the rooms, as my room was both well-lit (there are two lighting control panels: one on the wall, one next to the bed), and easy to control temperature wise (again, there is one control panel on the wall, and a remote control next to the bed).I also don't understand some of the negative reviews on here about the staff.

I had a very comfortable stay ?The only slight negative was the nearby construction work noise, but this did not start until 8 am. I just kept the window closed, the curtain pulled across (which dampens a lot of noise), and the air con set to a comfortable level.Just a suggestion: it might be useful to have a guide in English for the amazing functions of the toilet, or at least a label pointing to the button for the flush.

We had a short stay in Seoul, abt 4 days in their deluxe two bed room, which was a special deal off. Can recommend highly though I probably wouldn‘t have booked it for the full price (which at around ~600€ would have still been fair if your budget allows it). The bath was very clean and comfortable, and there are some great restaurants & izakayas around the area. Staff kindly helped us book a taxi to Seoul station.

The room was amazing, exactly like the photographs shown, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, the facilities were very good also! We had a bath and separate shower room. Cleaning service was offered for the room each day, along with a laundry service which we used once and our clothes were returned on the same day! The staff were very friendly and helpful, will definitely stay here on our next visit to Seoul

The things I love the most are the location, the comfortable beds and the cleanliness. The rooms have everything you need, including phone chargers. The location is convenient for travelling to Yeouido / Hongdae / Mullae / Central City Express Bus Terminal. The hotel is near 2 subway lines, and a lot of bus routes. The hotel also allows you to store your luggage before and after your stay (I stored mine for a few hours before check in and after check out). If there is anything negative, it would be the heating. The room was very hot, almost too hot and I was hesitant to open the window because of the air quality/noise.
