Hotel Daewoo Inn

Location was great (near a station and Myeongdong shopping area. The room was pretty nice, but a bit small. Price was very cheap. Staff was very nice and could speak english. Payment and booking through booking.com was easy.

The bathroom was small, and was all fogged up and the floor was wet after a shower. There was also a weird red stain on the bathroom door. They told me to put my used toilet paper in a bin next to the toilet to avoid clogging it up.

It’s a small hotel with super friendly owners/staff. We stayed for 5 nights and they helped us with a few things during our stay. They have great local food recommendations if you ask. The location is super convenient to many of Seoul’s main attractions. The metro, Namdaemun Market, Deoksugung Palace, and Myeongdong are all walking distance. It’s a great deal and I’d happily stay there again.

The location was very convinient, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly.

The soundproofing was really bad. I could hear everything from the reception and the neighbors talking late at night. My room was on the first floor.

The location itself is very convenient and accessible to local markets, historic landmarks and train stations. There are also plenty of restaurants around the area. So if you are a solo traveler, coming for leisure, who is not very particular to ‘premium- ness’, i recommend you to consider this Inn. My room is big - got 2 beds, big TV, ref, and well operational aircon. I’d like to commend the kindness and hospitality of the front reception. Thank you so much!Generally pleasant stay.

Not ideal for business trips - wifi connection is poor and intermittent (I did not report anymore as I have my own personal wifi).Not ideal for people with disability. No dedicated lane for wheelchairs. Disposable slippers could be better. Blowdryer power is not that strong. Some towels are stained.

- The staff was extremely friendly and helpful - each time I would need they would give me coffee, tea etc;- Pretty good English at the reception;- Very nice to have a small fridge in the room;- The Water dispenser was amazing;

- This has to do more with the room structure, but I would not have the air conditioning blowing cold air towards your head ( the bed is aligned with it so if you want a cool temperature at night, you run the risk of getting a cold);- The bathroom had an unsual format: the sink and shower were combined and the tricky part was turning on the sink without turning on the shower. Also getting thw water cold or warm was difficult, so I would suggest providing instructions to guests not to get soaked while trying to wash their hands.

The size is bigger than the usual accommodations in Seoul. The bed was comfortable and they cleaned the rooms. The bathroom was spacious enough. Staff were very kind.

It's all you need, great location if you don't mind walking 10 minutes

There is no airflow in the bathroom causing the bathroom to become very foggy very fast

very friendly and helpful staff, and the cleaning lady was adorable she didn’t judge how crazy i looked after my nights out ? small room but very cosy with heated floors so it was amazing during my winter stay. location also great 1 min from a 7/11 and 5 min walk from metro/bus, also very close to myeongdong shopping district so ideal!

The location is perfect, close to metro station, bus stops and touristic places. Convenience store a few meters away. Tv with some English channels. The staff is kind and helpful. Soundproof room.

Staff friendly and willing to help. The location is great, close to bus and metro stations. Easy to get to Seoul Station. Also, lots of restaurants and convenience stores right outside.

The only problem is that you can hear other rooms. So, the hotel should improve making the rooms more sound proof.

Everything was great! The rooms was clean (daily), spacious and with all the amenities. The location is perfect, just 10 min walk from Myeongdong and a few minutes walk from train station and bus station. The staff was extremely kind, helpful and always available. This is the perfect choice if you are staying in Seoul and want to be central. Great value for money too.

Nothing really, the only thing I could say is that my plane landed really early in the morning and I requested an early check in, although the rooms was not ready until 3pm. Perhaps an early check in option would be good to be considered.

Loved the location: few minutes walking to central station and many other interesting spots! Safe area! Very welcoming staff! They kept my luggage before check in. Room was very clean and had everything I could need! Highly recommended!

Room was very small, if you had a large suitcase it would have taken up all the space.

Great location and the staff at the hotel are brilliant. So friendly and helpful. You can do your laundry there too very easily (they take it and do it for you) and it’s not very expensive either. a great place to stay in Seoul if it’s your first time visiting as it’s super central and very close to City Hall metro. Bedding also super comfortable, we slept really well there.

Location was ideal. Near City Hall subway station. They even had same day laundry service for a nominal fee.

The hotel may be challenging for those that don’t understand Korean. It is a Korean style hotel catering more towards locals. But I saw foreign travelers at the hotel during my stay. So I may be overly cautious.Shoes off at room entrance.No separate shower stall but more of how bathrooms are in Korean apartments.

Comfortable beds, staff is very friendly, small but has everything we need, clean

No air conditioner, also didn’t enjoy how the bathroom is set up because whenever you shower the water gets all over the entire bathroom floor

Great hotel in a great location. The room was a really good size and very comfortable. Owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice to be out of the hustle and bustle of myeongdong but still close. Subways, stations and sites walkable, plenty of restaurants close by. Would def recommend!
