Gangnam Suncity Guesthouse

TV not connected, AC turned off, staff misrepresented office hours as midnight, 2 pillows only that were very different cushion, drinking water bottles not provided in the room, dirty TV console, no live staff, office always closed

Ms Sunny was very helpful , the room was cozy and tidy , the location is very good

The guesthouse is clean and well maintained, and the host is very nice and helpful. The mini fridge is small but is much bigger than those in most of the hotel, so it can store all the foods that I need.

The bathroom is little too high, and I hope there is separate shower room to separate it from the toilet.

The property is well maintained and the owner is very respectful and super nice! Her English is good as well and she is willling to help with anything you need. I like that the room has a mini fridge, private bathroom and hot water boiler. Any dishes I need to borrow I can go to the shared kitchen. For laundry, you will just need to pay the owner and she will do it for you. This is a good place to stay if you need something affordable, is a single traveler and traveling for medical purposes (surgeries, etc). I will definitely come stay again for sure!

Just a small note - There are rules posted in the kitchen to maintain respect for other clients who stay in the other rooms by keeping noise down after 10pm. but some clients don’t always follow that and that is not the property’s fault at all! Just wish that other clients can be respectful as well

Sunny has been super attentive, responsive and thoughtful during my past 2 stays at Suncity. I highly recommend if you're staying around Gangnam/Sinsa!

The room and shared areas was very clean and nice. I found the beds to be very comfortable. The staff was super nice and helpful at all times and went out of their to help us with trying to find a camera my friend lost in Korea last time she was there, and we greatly appreciated it. I would definitely stay here again.

Small room but with everything you need: a desk, a mini fridge, a wardrobe and a private bathroom. Very clean, quiet and 3 minutes from the nearest MTR stop. Suncity Guesthouse is also easily accessible from the airport by bus 6002 and a 5 minute walk. I loved this place!

The hotel is amazingly well located. Right next to the subway, in the middle gagnam but still in a quite street so no noise at night. The staff was really nice, the place clean and had all necessary amunities. The AC worked perfectly and the self check in was really convinient. I highly recommend this place !

Excellent location! Metro and bus station is really close! Easy check in and out. Good size room for one person and for the prize! Got easily everywhere and is in walking distance from Han river. With the hot and humid weather, I LOVED the air-condition in the room!

The property is only a two minute walk from the Metro. It's an excellent location for Lexis Korea language school in Gangnam. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It's very quiet.

I couldn't work out how to use the AC so it was very hot.

The staff was helpful and quick with my check-in.

I had to leave the room the very next morning and got myself a new hotel. (I didn't bother to ask for a change of room cos I reckon all the rooms are in similar condition.)I had a very quick check-in at 3pm and didn't check the room much before I leave for my errands. When I return in the evening, I realised the room was not clean at all. It was damped, and the wallpaper was coming off because of the humidity. Underneath the door was damped where paper was used to cover the mould(?). I didn't realise it's a wet toilet as well.The walls of the room are very thin where I can hear everything in the corridor. The AC was quite loud too. I am unable to sleep until 5am in the morning... I have no idea why this hotel is being rated with such a high rank.

Very clean. Fresh linen. Double Room is perfect size for me as a solo traveller. Staff was sweet, polite and very accommodating. Location close to Sinsa Station was perfect for me because away from the touristy places. Every place was easily reached by subway or on foot. However someone wanting a touristy immersion might prefer a different location.

I'm a softie so I prefer a softer bed however the bed provided is typical firm Korean. This is not a problem though because I expected it.

Very nice place to stay near Metro station. The host was super friendly and kind. The room was nice, clean and comfy.

Everything was fine. Lost a little bit, but then find the place. The guesthouse around the corner from Sinsa station literally. The host is polite & welcoming. Room small, but heated bed is very cozy.Good choice if You travel alone.

The staff was so accommodating, kind and helpful. I had some things I needed to throw away from my luggage and she helped me with that. She even kept my luggage with her after check-out, because I needed more time in Korea. Overall, would come here to stay again!

Kang is the sweetest girl. She listen your need and make your stay as the best as possible. The place is really quiet and the location is just perfect ! I felt very safe ! Thank you Kang ! I recommend this place 100%
