Hotel 8 Hours

Room was clean and comfortable. Convenient location in city center. Hotel owner personally helped us find the airport bus after asking for directions.

The staff are kind and helpful.The location is excellent as it's very close to Seoul Station and the Myeongdong area.AC works well and is also quiet enough to sleep well.There is a shared cafe area with a free coffee machine, hot water, and a microwave.

The room doesn't have any windows, and the room's light is dim.The walls are a little thin, and I sometimes hear outside noises.There are no tables near the beds, so I don't have a place to put my phone and water bottle.

The entrance was a little confusing to find of you aren’t from a city

Very good value for money. The rooms were bigger than expected and was in a good location. It's also right near an airport limousine bus stop, so it's convenient.Rocky working at the reception was so lovely! Please send him our thanks for his service.

The staff was very nice and the hotel was near a subway station.

Location was good

We had booked Hotel 8 Hours for four nights, but we checked out after just one night without any refund due to the extremely poor conditions. The room and the general appearance of the hotel were nothing like the pictures — everything looked very run-down and neglected. Calling it a “hotel” is highly misleading; it is actually a hostel, and not a good one.The room was very dark, the mattress was so worn out that you could feel the springs, and there was trash in the stairwell, causing an unpleasant smell throughout the building. The bathroom was moldy, and there were silverfish. Overall, it was extremely dirty and unhygienic.When we decided to leave early, the staff were neither surprised nor interested in our feedback.Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this place at all.

The back alley location isn’t the best

Clean bedding, spacious rooms, nice staff and great location, would give it 7.5

The cleaning done by the staff is great but the bathrooms are a bit older and have some issues e.g. leaking sink, fungy walls, one of the rooms didnt have curtains.Also would be helpfull to add a sign for guests that they shouldnt make noise after a certain time. There were so many tourists still making noise late in the evening and even in the morning (2am).

The staff was very helpful and kind. The hotel is close to the major tourist attractions and the subway so that was great. The room was pretty good especially for the price. They change the towels everyday and you can use the washing machine for a small fee if you need to do the laundry. Every room has its own wifi.

The entrance to the actual building looked a bit sketchy, but there is nothing to worry about. The bathroom tends to be quite cold because the AC is on when the lights are on. It was quite a strange system but we got used to it, and the staff even gave us a small heater for the room. The rooms are not really made for chilling in them for the whole day, but for the price and the location, I would say it is still worth it.

Very good location and staff were super nice and helpful. The room was clean, but a bit small for my big suitcase. Me and my friend had to rotate opening our suitcases. All in all definitely recommend.

Hotel rooms are functional, with private bathroom, and amazingly located for seeing the classic tourist areas of the city. The front desk staff were friendly and, while in an area with bars and restaurants, a step removed from the real crowds down the road. Our biggest problems were banging noises from next door/the street that started at about 7/8am each day and the lack of a blind over the window to keep the daylight out.

location was excellent as it was only a few minutes walk to myeondong and city hall station! but i really got to give the staffs there a big thank you as i wasn’t feeling well and they were so kind enough to let me rest before checking out. their customer service is really a 10/10 for me! thank you for making my trip to south korea a good one! ☺️

the only issue was that the heater/air conditioner was connected to every single room so the heater accidentally got switched to the air conditioning settings overnight.

The location was pretty good. The hotel located in the restaurant area, and the building looked shady, but hotel itself was very clean and it locates less than 5 mins walk from City Hall station. In addition, the stuff there were very friendly, and helpful which we liked the most!!

The facility in the room was very minimum. We felt it would be nice if there was a table beside each bed, or at least one table per room. And also because there was no place to put clothes or bath towel in bath room, so we had to put our clothes outside of the bathroom and it was a bit inconvenient.

A short walk away from many interesting spots in central Seoul, making it a great option for anyone staying a few days. Despite its central location, it was quiet which was definitely a bonus. There is a convenience store just around the corner and lots of great food options, some open 24hours.The staff were very helpful and quick to respond to my message about late check in when our flight was delayed.

The room and attached bathroom were quite small and cramped with 2 suitcases- a bit of a downside. If you’re on a budget and don’t mind about space, then it’s decent value for a few nights stay.

Good location and easy to find

Very thin walls and extremely loud. Bathroom was freezing. No windows so very dark in the room.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel and gave it five stars! While the room was small, it was thoughtfully designed and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent, making it easy to explore the area, and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, always ready to assist with any questions or requests.

The staff is super friendly and they let us leave our luggage at lobby till late at night. The lobby seems to have a staff around all the time.
