One of the filthiest hotel stays I’ve ever had.The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks—urine-stained sheets, brown marks on the bedding, and someone else’s hair under the covers. Towels were full of holes and grey stains, even the “fresh” ones. The bathroom had visible mold, no ventilation, and the air reeked of mildew. I wiped the floor with a towel—no pressure—and it came up black.I asked for all new bedding and got one stained pillowcase and a sheet. No duvet cover. No full set. Just more filth. When I raised concerns, staff apologized and gave a small gift—but only after offering bizarre excuses like “the dirt is old” and “I just got here.” The staff member eventually became apologetic and seemed kind, but the damage was done.This wasn’t just disappointing—it was unsanitary and unacceptable. For $100 USD, this wasn’t “budget,” and Seoul has far better options. Don’t risk it.

there was BUGS and it was very itchy but staff did nothing. I don’t want to recommend everyone to stay here. I asked staff to cancel reservations and get refund as our condition was getting worse but staff seems so sleepy and has no energy. He woke up from the room and there was no talk.

It’s near to a lot of shops. That’s just about the good thing there.

Sent a direct message to the property that I’ve got severe asthma and allergies. Told them that I would appreciate if they cleaned up the room before my arrival. Because upon booking the hotel then I saw all the bad reviews which was strange. Tried to cancel it but albeit, it’s non refundable so alright. Told them about it but not surprisingly the room was a disaster. The floors were disgusting. The bed was way worst. Hair still on the bed, stains, used toilet paper. Just nasty.

Good location

Soundproof is really bad. I was assigned to the 4th floor and I could clearly hear a group of people chatting in the corridor at 2am. Same for the morning, people walking and talking easily woke me up.

Only the location, 12 storeys Daiso building and Kim Seri halal restaurant are nearby. Bathroom serves the function regardless the price.

I wonder if there's any cleaning checklist for the cleaner. During our last 3 days, they didn't provide us the toiletries at all. In more than 2 occasions, I had to ask for the bottled water. Once, we found our door was not locked, shocking luckily nothing was stolen. It was very careless of the cleaner. I had to inform both receptionist and the cleaner to remember to lock the door after cleaning. They didn't even apologise for this.

Location. Right within Myeongdong shopping district.

The room is too small. We booked a twin room but was given a studio room that we could only open 1 luggage at a time. Water and toilette were not replenished every housekeeping and it was very dirty under the bed. Toilet is very small, there’s also bathing and basin is in the same place, and the bidet’s is just beside.

wifi doesn’t work and small bugs are everywhere…. And the outlet wasn’t working as well.

Close proximity to Myeongdong night market, and good restaurants.

We booked two double bedrooms, but only given one bathrobe, can’t fit the 24” luggage, no teaspoon and no tea/coffee sachets. For one of our rooms for the last stay, water dripping from the ceiling.

Location wise and reasonable price!

Staff were unfriendly except for one lady staff. She is helpful. She helped us with the a/c issues. Thank you.Air conditioner in the room were hot. They set the temperature from reception hence no use of the controller in the room.Pillowcases and duvet cover were dirty, traces of it being used previously.NO IRON facilities. Which is rather upsetting. Atleast they should have steamer!

Great location.

I was surprised to see the staff was inside my room two hours after check-in!!! He claimed to fix the air-conditioning but without my permission and informing me in advance.

I love the location, the cleanliness of the room. Room cleaned everyday and towels changed everyday.

Toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner,shower gel and soap were provided only on the 1st day. Pricey per night. Could have provided, simple bfast or coffee and bread.

Good location between the line 4 and line 2. I've spent a lot of time in Seoul but never stayed in myeongdong. Even though it is right in the busy night streets the rooms were quiet and comfortable

Anytime we had an issue, the staff resolved it within 10 minutes. All issues we had were very small like the air unit getting stuck on heat, but the staff fixed it very quickly.

The bathroom could be a tiny bit cleaner, but nothing truly problematic.

I was literally placed in the room opposite the reception which is this in front of the door hands it wasn’t quiet but from the outside window you can’t hear anything it’s just from the doors since my room is literally by the lobby

The location is great!! Only a few steps to Myeongdong metro station and airport limousine bus stop.

No self service area such as water, food stations and weight scale. There is no doormat in the room as well.

Friendly staffs! Most of them are ready to help whenever needed. On the first night I got there, it was pretty cold in the room and one of the clerk brought a portable heater for me to use to warm up the room more.

Nothing much, you get what you paid for.

The hotel had a good location, most tours have a pickup point near the hotel. MRT, shops and restaurants are located nearby too.

I would not recommend staying here. The room we stayed in was dirty, the walls and ceiling were covered in stains/squashed bugs. And the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. The bathroom had black mold everywhere. The sheets on the bed felt a bit greasy, and the pillows were very uncomfortable. The bathroom smelled bad and we tried to avoid spending time in the hotel as much as possible.. We eventually decides to check out early (without a refund) because we woke up with various (itchy and painful) red bumps on our arms. I’m 100% certain that I got them in the hotel room, because I found small blood stains on my sheets at arms height (they weren’t there yet when I went to bed the night before). I can’t be completely certain at what caused these.. But I would highly recommend steaming all of your luggage and bagging everything up after staying here!
