Hotel Lumia Myeongdong

Very close to many attractions. Close to subway and restaurants/convenience store. Easy check in and staff were very kind.

Not the cleanest. Stains were found all over bedding and dust build up was everywhere. Also not sure if cleaning staff actually changed bedding as sheets looked to be the same sheets used when we asked them to change the linen.

Shower was hot with good pressure

Hotel was dimly lit, cramped, and outdated.

Hotel check in was efficient and quick. Hotel room was decently stocked with facilities and equipment.

On the hotel booking site, it promised 26 square feet of space but it turned out to be way smaller than that. Very little space to move around (we had 4 people in the room) and no space to store our luggages.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and hassle-free. The location of the hotel is excellent, making it convenient to get around. The room was clean, comfortable, and met all my expectations. Overall, everything was great.

The only point that could be improved is the breakfast, which did not meet my expectations.

Comfortable. Great location - quiet and close to train station. Free use of washing machine.

The bathroom and the small cafe area next to the reception were nice. The rooftop area was a great bonus.

The rooms were too hot, and there wasn’t a way to turn down the temperature. The neighborhood isn’t the best area to stay for first-timers.

Room and bathrooms were clean and tiny. It had heated floors, and our room looked out to Seoul Tower which was a bonus. Had a small fridge and hangers which was useful. There's a nice roof top garden to relax.

Breakfast offering could have been better.

We used luggage storage after check out. When we cane back in the evening, noone told me that my charger was left in the room, Unfortunatelly I realised that at the airport. It happened before to me, in other hotel, and the stuff gave me the charger when we came back for our luggage. That’s why I was surprised that if you forgot something in the room after check out, it just disappears.

Sleeping on a building site ...

The hotel is currently undergoing major renovation, which is ongoing during the normal working hours despite guests being present. I did not meet a single staff member but struggled with the check-in machine. The reception area and elevator were covered in dust, protective blankets, and building material, and there was constant building noise like hammering during working hours. I did not imagine this. The location is OK (close to Myeongdong), but not a pretty back street area. I will not go back there.

Great location! Close to Namdaemun Market and Myeongdong area. The rooms were super clean. There was some snacks for breakfast in the morning.

The beds were hard. I booked the place thinkning there was a free taxi service from airport to hotel, however, there wasn't and possibly a mistake on my side. The rooms were a bit small.

Location was good and the staff was friendly.

The bathroom door was a wooden sliding door that didn't close properly, so you could hear everything. It may as well not have been there at all. There were no amenities and only shampoo, no conditioner.

The staffs there were so friendly and helpful. Overall it is a good stay considering close to myeongdong with only few minutes walk. The hotel staffs were so nice and treated us with festival food for mid-autumn.

Location was great - 1 stop on the subway (or else 10 minute walk) from Seoul station. Make sure you check Naver for which exit to take out of the subway station though; if you take the correct exit then it is just 2 minutes up the road. (Otherwise, can be a little harder). Overall very kind staff and the room was surprisingly big for Seoul. Great location, walkable to the Myeongdang market, etc. Able to store bags before check-in/after check out without any issues.

Note, there was not free breakfast, despite pictures to this end online.

Modest place one tube stop from Seoul station. Reasonably ok but nothing special Lounge area to chill and eat your own food was nice.

Room was a little small.

Breakfast provided every morning water and clean towels. Rooftop was beautiful

Rough beds

The hotel is located super close to the metro station making it easy to go around Seoul from the hotel. There is complimentary breakfast each morning. Overall the staff, namely Chris, was lovely and very helpful. It's nice that they have an automatic check in/check out as it simplifies things when you leave early.

Nothing to complain about.

It was nice and and tidy. The staff was very welcoming. It’s a nice and friendly hotel to stay in Seoul as it has a good location and access to both bus and subway stations. The Namdaemun market is just around the corner as well.

The hotel was perfect if you are travelling with friends. They were able to accommodate 3 pax albeit 3 single beds. The room is a bit tight for 3 people - you really can't walk around but the location makes up for it. It is close to the train station as well as walking distance to Namdaemun Market and Naman Tower.They have a lovely rooftop deck that's perfect for evenings with a view of the lit up N Tower!

The hotel is near subway station n myeongdong area. There is free coffee n bread in the lounge room. Bed n pillow comfortable. Very generous with toilet rolls. Receptionist helpful n friendly.

The room is too small n cramp. Not enough tabletops to place things n not enough space for luggages. Very small bathroom n water pressure too low.
