Urban Place Gangnam

Location in gangnam. More like residency hotel. There are kitchenette and cooking wares. Very clean. Free wifi and parking are extra.

Complicated heating and cooling system. There are separate controllers for each system. And no english manual on controllers.

The location and price was great for me.

The rooms weren’t very clean and it was difficult to communicate with staff.

The location is very convenient to Gangnam Station, I had eye surgery done and used this hotel. It was a 15 min walk from the clinic. The room was a decent size as well

Very dusty in the room. Not ideal for eye surgery but the location was too good for my trip. Had 2 elevators but was split for odd and even floors so was very slow.

Gym, nice location. Rooms were nice. Good room service

The lady at reception was so unbelievably rude. First rude person I met in south korea. Didn't seem interested in helping out when we were checking in.

Front staff was very helpful, room size is good for 2 people. Shower booth has the door ( hard to find in Seoul with reasonable accommodation), room was clean. the location was great too, bus stop is very close ( even AirPort Express bus). I would definitely repeat!

Nothing I didn’t like but it will be nice if there is microwave in a room !

This was my second time stay here. Housekeeping lady was nice and they cleaned the room nicely

Elevator is slow..

Room was decent sized, able to hold 2 luggages and 2 adults adequately. Wifi was strong, I had an online seminar with no internet connection issues. The room is clean too.

The bed is bit old, could feel the spring coils when u sleep on the bed. Pillows are too low and mattress is quite soft, perhaps not too comfortable for those with back problems

Good location, not easy to find though.

Front desk staff was a little lack of informations that we had asked.

There is a strong smoking smell or either burning smell in the room, we have to open the window all night to get some fresh air. Staying in this hotel is probably the worst of my travel experience, and it really needed to be remodelled.

The staff were helpful and the location is very convenient for me.

While they do attempt to clean the room, it is actually not very clean. The bathroom still had hair on the floor and the walls had stains from previous shampoo and toothpaste. The kitchenware was not properly cleaned either.

Good location near Gangnam station.

The bed wasn't comfortable. Shower pressure low. Hard to control the room temperature- too hot or too cool.

Great location, directly in between 2 Metro Stations (Gangnam and Yangjae), 20 minutes into City, and most tourist attractions. Express-Bus 6009 from Incheon Airport (direct) stops about 300 meters from the hotel. Show the address to the driver. He'll tell you where to exit, don't get out at Gangnam station, or you'll have to walk longer!Express-Bus terminal to other cities 4 Metro stops away.The apartment comes fully equipped with a gas stove, electric kettle, dishes, air conditioning, and a proper bath with a real shower cabin.This all for a great price: the total package could hardly be better, esp. in Seoul.

There's potential for improvement regarding the cleanliness. We found so many hairs from strangers in our bath that we called for another cleanup from the service. The towels and sheets were stained so we asked for a change.Service came and "helped out" within a few minutes, but the "new" towels and sheets were stained as well (though clearly fresh from the laundry and pressing service).During the week, towels were changed daily and never looked good. Otherwise, we would have kept them. In the end, we used our own.Staff at the front office ranged from professional "I don't care" to super friendly and "happy to see you".Unfortunately, we had the friendly one at the checkout...Our Korean is not worth mentioning, but communication was possible via App....would have expected a bit more english, at least in a hotel in Seoul-Gangnam.Anyway, still great price - value ratio.We'll give it another try if we come back to Seoul (maybe with better Korean) and can definitely recommend Urban Place Gangnam.

Urban Place is perfect for Gangnam tourists. The hotel is clean, staff speaks English and is very friendly, and it's close to public transportation. Come here!

Perfect location in a heart of Gagnam district, but quiet.

In same house normal apartments and hotel.

bathroom tile was coming off the wall. needed to be repaired.the bathroom was not clean. other people’s hairs in bathroom. stains on window drapery and on walls.

Bed was comfortable, washing machine in the room. The staff was lovely and engaged.

The bathroom was dirty, the pillows were stained and the wallpaper was lose on many spots.
