Moxy Seoul, Myeongdong

The location is right off of Myeongdong walking street! Very close to food and walking distance to Hyundai Mall. The staff were VERY nice, helpful, and accommodating. Loved that I was able to check in early and out a little late.

Although the room was nice, the room had a bad smell and was not cleaned thoroughly. There was a lot of hair from previous guests on the bed, floor, foldable table/chair/bench. Did not like taking 2 different elevators to get the hotel rooms.

The free laundry facilities were a lovely touch. The property was clean and exactly what we needed after a long day of sightseeing.

Conveniently located. Lots of restaurants in the area. The hotel smells nice. room is big enough for 2 people.

Room was small for 3 people but there are 2 double beds which were enough for for us. Knowing Moxy uses hanging spaces for table and chairs which are ok. We had 4 big suitcases, a bit hard to move around the room as our suitcases dont fit under the beds.The housekeeping lady kept on forgetting to add our toilet paper but it's not a big dleal. Toilet has japanese style bidet. We tried the breakfast for KRW30000 per person,i think it is overpriced. I would stay here again, location is good. Lunch and dinner offer were great!

Nice staff in a hotel perfectly located. If you want to be in the middle of the tourism area, but have a decent sleep night, this is the place to stay.

You are not in control of your room temperature (even that they say you are). You cannot lower it less than 23-24 and sometimes is very difficult to sleep in that hot environment. The service at the restaurant is very inconsistent. They are nice, but very slow service, only one server that takes 20 minutes to serve a beer from the draft.

Kind and accommodating staff. Will def be back again on my next Seoul trip! Loved the free laundry service. Cute lobby lounge. Nice and decent size room for Seoul. Not big, but not super tiny either. Away from the hustle of Myeongdong, but super conveniently next to it. 1 min walk to Myeongdong.

Like everything. The bed and pillow could be more comfy. But that's just my preference.

The staff at the entry was always very welcoming and helpful whether saying hello or getting a taxi for us. They were excellent. The location was very close to shops and restaurants and street food so nice not to have to take transportation for food. The space utilization was great. Really liked the design of the hooks for clothes, luggage rack, table and chairs. The beds were super comfortable and the shower was great. The 24/7 coffee was a bonus.

Just a foot or two more width to the room would have been nice but we didn't expect more. So, not really a criticism, just an FYI for other guests. We had a toe to toe queen room.

Absolutely perfect. Amazing service and staff, cool vibes, very very clean and incredible location in Myeongdong, literally outside is the main street.Hotel room was very clean and spacious, with a nice view to Myeongdong! Price is fair and worth every dime!

Location was good and easy to walk to many places. Access to the subway and near some cultural spots. Room was clean but small and when the rooms were clean it was spotless. If you don't spend time in the room its good.

There was a lack of communication around the holidays. It would have been nice to know that many places were going to be closed, but this came as a surprise. My partner is lactose intolerant and has some dietary restrictions. In the freezing rain, I walked around for two hours trying to find something for her to eat. In the end, the pizza places wouldn't even give me pizza without cheese. When I mentioned this to the staff, I explained the situation and hoped they could help her find something to eat that day. I asked if they could make a pizza without cheese and just sauce, and this request was denied. They claimed it was "impossible". We were shocked, and all my partner could eat were potato chips that day.This is an international chain which should be flexible in helping its international visitors. The TV broke multiple times as well. They did come to fix it, but afterwards, it kept faltering, and at this point, we were so unsatisfied with our stay.

The location is right in the heart of the action of Myeongdong. It’s well located to visit the city. The vibes are good. I appreciate the all-day free coffee. The rooms have everything you need. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The fact that there is a constant blinking light right above the bed (fire detector??) is completely absurd to me and it bothered me the entire stay.

Location- central to everything in Myeongdong and to subway. Easy to grab a cab from hotel too.Staff- all incredibly friendly and helpful! Appreciate all of you!Room- spacious enough to fit 3 suitcases (could have fit 1 more I think), very clean, love the decor!! Bathroom was beautiful- enough counter space, and shower was great! Hotel food- very good, delicious. Breakfast buffet was worth it, lots of variety every morning. We also had dinner- food was good, but wish there was a few more options to choose from. Eating space is fun, again, decor is vibrant and trendy. Really fun. The hotel arranged transportation for us to and from airport- excellent service. Thank you!Overall, we highly recommend Moxy Hotel Myeongdong and plan to stay here when we go back to visit.

The washer and dryer self-service- timing could be done differently. People come and go when they can, their laundry sits in washer until the owners come back to move to dryer. It was hard to find washer to start your laundry. But, it was easy to use, just timing was hard. Hotel was fixing two dryers during our stay, so that slowed laundry down. We also used the laundry service since we didn't have time to use self-service laundry again (given constraints). Laundry service was great, but pricier. It was worth it for us though. Thank you!

Loved the property! Rooms are small but that is typical for this area. Our Airbnb air condition broke, this was a last minute booking where the hotel was able to accommodate two rooms for us for the week and arranged for them to be close to each other.

Stayed in Seoul with my son and absolutely loved it. The hotel was vibrant, clean, and had amazing service from the staff. Great location near shops and attractions.

Nothing major – maybe just that the room was a bit compact, but it was well designed.

The staff were professional, personable and helpful. We had rhe family room which was enough room for your family of 4. The location is prime for everything you want to do in Myeong-dong. They made us feel at home. 24 hour coffee, laundry, and lounging was just so convenient.
