Pros +
- Great view, very accommodating staff, large modern room with new furnishings, excellent daily housekeeping
- Clean room, beautiful views, incredibly lovely staff. I was staying with my sister, after the first night they started doubling the complimentary items (from 2 waters to 4, from 4 coffees to 8 and from 4 teas to 8). They were so attentive with our belongings and always carefully folded the pajamas we left on the bed and even organized our items around the sink on top of towels. Loved the beautiful atmosphere and made me wish I spent more time inside by the end of my stay. The cafe on the ground floor has the most divine pain au chocolat! Didn't get to try room service either but the options looked amazing. There's a 7eleven a short 1-2 min walk away from the hotel entrance which also has such friendly staff! ATM right next to it too. Metro station is a short 5 min walk away. I loved everything.
- It is truly a five star hotel. We stayed at the river view suite and the view was spectacular. The room was the biggest room I have ever stayed in Seoul. The service was excellent as well. They quickly get back to us every time we needed anything. It was a very pleasant stay, On top of that we enjoyed the amenities: the breakfast buffet, the swimming pool and the fitness center. I would gladly stay here again.
Cons -
- wifi was slow for a 5-star property, there was a small leak at the base of the shower that caused a puddle in the toilet area and created a persistent damp smell in the bathroom
- The location isn't the best if you want to efficiently visit all of Seoul in short time. I also did lots of shopping and found it difficult to plan for dropping my bags off at the hotel mid-day, so I had to carry things around with me all day which was quite inconvenient. But I knew that while booking so it didn't bother me too much.
- Only minor items. Our toilet had a foul smell that we could not get rid of. We have also requested to stay at the highest possible floor but they only gave us the 10th floor. Other than those, we had a pleasant stay.

The room, the view, the breakfast, and the location were great. The staff was also exceptional and very helpful.
Clean and nice 5-star hotel, I think it is one of the best in Seoul. They have nice restaurants. Staff are attentive.
Nothing!
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in years. Quality of a Park Hyatt for a much lower price.
Can’t think of anything. It wasn’t AS close to everything as some hotels in Seoul but I actually enjoyed not being in the middle of the touristy neighborhoods.
The property is beautiful. The concierge service is impeccable especially Angie and PHILIP.
Beautiful, great location. Concierge service Philip and Angie are the best help me with all my questions and provided my tour guides.
Nothing not to like
Location was nice .. breakfast was good it may need more variation for other nationality
The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The location is great and the view of river is superb. Nice breakfast and great cafe
It overcharged on a weekend. I made a deal for 5 days and I didn’t realize that they double the tariff for Saturday. It was disappointing since I had made a reservation for 5 days and they should consider this aspect
I was so impressed with the services, the Korean hospitality, the location with great view of Han river. I got a room with river view and it worth every single dollars to have great views. The sunset and the nightlight was mesmerizing. I loved the area and I did walk across Mapo Bridge to Yeouido side to see Cherry blossoms. Hotel breakfast was the best, good fresh ingredients and delicious. The other thing that I love was good air conditioning that I can adjust. The bed was comfortable, bathroom was luxurious. I will come back for sure, to stay here was the best choice of my trip.
Great location in Mapo and well connected to other areas. Great hospitality as well. The bakeru on the ground floor is extraordinary. Room service only works until 9:30pm except on Friday and weekends while the pool works until 10pm so you have a trade-off. Taking a river view is a no-brainer.
Everything was just perfect! The staff is so professional and friendly, everything is so clean and beautiful. The breakfast was really good and tasty, local kimchi was also really good. The outdoor pool was really nice and the view was amazing!
Amazing welcome by staff, Philip from the concierge has a big smile and his positive energy, And Ara from the room service has a great spirit, And Special thanks to Pamela for helping me, Overall the entire staff are amazing, The room was clean and nice and it has spotless modren bathroom, Highly recommending it.
A Bluetooth speaker would be a nice touch to the room, I just love music, Other than that? Everything was perfect.
We had an amazing 5 star stay! I can't recommend Hotel Naru enough. This stay was a top highlight during our time in Seoul. Overall - It was a luxurious experience. Hospitality and service was top notch and everyone was warm and attentive. The hotel delivered a classy yet chill vibe which meant we had a taste of the high quality luxury hotel experience. Room - We were upgraded to a Han River view room (from a city view) which we were grateful for. The sunsets was one of the best views in Seoul. Room was spacious and bed comfy. The bathroom was spacious as well and we loved the bathtub and rain shower. The room is also fitted with high tech facilities and had lots of storage space for clothes or luggage. Dining - We ate at the Lounge & Deck for dinner and the afternoon high tea. Service was top notch, food among the best we had in Seoul plus a killer river view. Breakfast - Buffet style with lots of Korean, Continental, Japanese and American style options inc hot food like eggs, sausages and cooked meats etc. Facilities - The sauna (hot pool) was great. Plus they have a modern gym and pool. Special mentions - Thank you in particular to Layla (Concierge), Jenny (Voisin Bar) and Julie (Voisin Restaurant / Lounge & Deck). You went out of your way to make us feel welcome, your knowledge of food/drinks was amazing and we really appreciated your professionalism and hospitality
Only downside was that the bidet function in the toilet didn't work during our entire stay despite hotel maintenance attempting to fix it. Front desk staff did try to help by promptly sending maintenance but it didn't resolve the issue before we left.
I like the view of Han river room , the cafe at the lobby is amazing. The staffs are attentive and helpful and they are very welcoming.
The room service isn’t 24 hours. The menu is horrible. There is no option of no pork food.
This hotel deserves a hundred stars! From the moment I arrived until my departure, the hotel provided exceptional care and attention. The bed and rooms were incredibly comfortable, and the interior design was stylish and welcoming. The breakfast selection was varied and fresh, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.Check-in and check-out were seamless and efficient, making the entire stay even more enjoyable.A special thank you to the concierge team, Mr. Anthony and Ms. Bianca, who truly made my stay unforgettable with their outstanding service and personal touch.
The hotel's location was not ideal, but hongdae street is 30 minutes walking.
Nicely designed rooms, very clean and spacious for 2 people. The bed was super comfortable and the staff were all so lovely to deal with. It was only a short walk to Mapo station which connected us to where ever we wanted to go. Also a few nice restaurants and a convenience store nearby. We didn’t use the pool as it was too cool at the time, but it looked amazing and had the best sunset views. Would definitely stay here again!
Nothing!
Friendly staff, good view, comfortable room
The staff were great. The pool view is very nice. Everything was perfect
The size of the tub is a bit small
