I stay at this hotel every time I come to Shanghai, and it never disappoints. The location is excellent — very convenient and close to public transport, restaurants, and shopping areas, which makes getting around the city extremely easy.The staff are friendly, polite, and always helpful, making the whole stay smooth and comfortable from check-in onward. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay.Overall, it’s a reliable, good-quality hotel that offers great value. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

Breakfast was good with a lot of variety. Hotel location was great, and the Hotel staff was amazing and very helpful. They tried their best to sort issues that we had at the hotel during our stay. The front desk manager - Colin was very understanding and helpful.

We changed 3 rooms in 2 days. The air conditioning was not working and the stay was very very unpleasant because of this reason. The room service as well was not available as per the timings mentioned at the Hotel.

Clean, the bed is comfortable

The front desk staffs never smile, greet you or say thank you. What odd choice for such critical customer facing roles. The vendor machines on the check in floor have cheapened this suppose-to-be luxury hotel? Why hotel staff allows people to wear hotel slippers roaming around? The restaurant staffs obviously were poorly trained, who have no manners, don't smile, and no engagement with the people, they just do their job and collect check and no customer focus in their mind. They are more friendlyby talking to each other rather be attentive with the customers.. I was at gym at 6:30am, the air conditioning is not running low temperature, it was like sauna room. Try to save electricity bill??? Sadly, before coming and after covid, this hotel is not longer suitable for foreigners.

Location and good breadfast

The room need to renovate as our bathroom door mirror was cracked and pasted with masking tape. The aircon cannot be adjusted and not very comfortable.

Friendly staff great place. I've stayed there on 6 different occasions and enjoyed every time.

Clean rooms, amazing views, great breakfast, shopping centre down stairs, beautiful park close by, plenty of food, subway down stairs and much more. 10 to 15 minutes drive to the Bundaberg by taxi or didi. Well worth staying there.

The hotel is located on Metro station

The staff is clearly a lot less well trained than before, has a strange attitude with foreigners, and the gym is getting from bed to worse. Most of the equipment in the gym is now defective and instead of fixing it, they remove it.

Good location

The property and rooms feel quite dated, and overall cleanliness did not meet expectations for a five-star rating. Food selection was limited and unimpressive. Security was a major concern — there was no card access required for lifts, meaning anyone could access guest floors without checks. Staff lacked hospitality and professionalism, and English communication was very limited despite catering to an international clientele. Definitely not up to standard.

Easy location to access the train station. The breakfast was excellent and ideal to have 2 stations so allows easy access for all patrons. The room was comfortable. But nothing in minibar.

the politeness, friendliness and professionalism of the staff.

i have to ask to change room during check in as the room has a strong smell of tobacco. So strong that it was unbearable.The hotel should make sure rooms should be fully sanitized before allowing the next customer to check in. And the hotel room facilities seem to be aged and outdated. the management should think of revamping room facilities so as to stay competitive.

A deposit of €140 was taken at the beginning of my stay, and was never returned. I chased this up both in person & via email, and never received my money back.

Aircon doesn’t work, slow staff

Convenient Location ( next to shopping mall, restaurant, coffee shop, bakery, sweets shop, train station, subway station = direct line from Pudong airport ( 22 station 70 minutes, 7 RMB ) )Cleaning Staff’s Recovery Action ( water leakage of sprinkler in the room ) …… urgently recovered for my room with smile without complain anything during evening, technical staff tried to check leaked origin point of water leakage for prevention = this is the most important & I respect staff’s recovery service, hope to be promoted those staff’s position and provided good bonus also why nobody take action like this at the other hotels in Asia.

Water leakage in the room ….. it was seen flooded entrance & bath room after back from work, carpet was wet, it seems wrong working of sprinkler.

Clean, has a lot to offer from business centre to gym to a full size swimming pool

It has great location next to ZhongShan park. Subway right below the hotel. The breakfast is delicious. Cleaning Ladies on my 39th floor does a great clean job for both of my rooms.

The rooms each has double full size beds, but it will only allow max three person to book one room. I had to book two rooms for a family of four.
