Location, location, location. The concierge was also top notch, very knowledgable and helpful. Kudos for him. He helped my wife purchasing a glucose.monitor and also.pointed to the right hospital when my grandson needed medical.attention.

Wish that more.of the staffs can be more fluent in English

The location is perfect, the bathroom, rather clean, cozy atmosphere, free snacks in minibar, the staff on entrance.

The deposit for each stay is a little bit old school;We had been asked to wait for free drinks at the lobby while waiting for the room, but never got any drinks, as much as never got an email when the room is ready.

The drop off location is sometimes difficult for taxis & room service wasnt very Muslim friendly.

The lobby is stunning with full access to a bar and dining, giving it a club vibe at night. Its location right on the walking street is a plus if you're a tourist. Breakfast was very, very good, with plenty of options for all kinds of tastes. The staff was communicative and helpful, and the food was tasty. It seems I had a personal butler. Chen Han Long happily took care of all my personal needs and even helped me buy food delivery and arrange my rental car delivery. Great service. I wish I had taken the time to go to the roof. It has one of the best skyline views in Shanghai.

For the price, the room was unimpressive. The view from the window was stunted and there wasn't a single tissue dispenser. One shouldn't have to call the front desk to get tissue to wipe our faces. Don't get me wrong, it was a nice room, but for the price I paid, the details should be covered.

The location is absolutely the best! It's right in the middle of Nanjing East, directly across from Daimaru Mall, and just a few steps from Pop Mart Junction. Having a Starbucks right next door is also a huge plus. Modern design ambience and great rooftop view. All the staff are very helpful and speak excellent English. I absolutely loved my stay!

The pillows were just way too soft for me, even after I requested a firm one.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions.

The only downside was the check-in process — the official check-in time is 3 PM, and there were additional delays before we could get our room. Other than that, everything was wonderful.

Food is not with in room dining. European food is sadly not good.

The drop off area for taxi, e-ride, was not clear for the drivers.

Very convenient location. Room is not huge but well designed and maintained. Rooftop bar has the most stunning view.

Such a cool hotel. Everything was superb - the fragrance, the room, the service, breakfast, location.

The room and dining areas were really nice. The reception and concierge were excellent and went out of their way to help us.

The service for our evening meal was slow and things that we asked for such as water and coffee never arrived.

the lights were a little too dim for the lobby and lift area, feels like a little test for my night vision but it’s not too bothering to the overall stay ?

Ee like the service of the staff, the cleanliness and the location of the hotel.

There is 1 day the cleaning aunty may have overlooked to empty our rubbish but small issue.

This was my second time at The Edition and it was amazing. The interior, the service, the location, the rooms, a 10 out of 10 for me. The one staff totally makes you feel like home, super friendly and top quality service. Can not wait to visit again and would definitely recommend The Edition Hotel!

A very central hotel close to metro. Fabulous city and river views. Rooftop bar was wonderful and we dined in both hotel restaurants which were exceptional. Our room was large and well designed (21 floor). A really nice ambiance throughout hotel and always smelt gorgeous!

The location

Lobby is not heated and quite cold. Hard tostay for a drink or working at the reception. My advise: make it warmer during winter

We had one of the most outstanding "HOSPITALITY" experiences of our lives during our 2 nights at the Shanghai EDITION Hotel.The location of the hotel is ideal, located on the main shopping street. Just a few steps to the Bund, which is an unparalleled experience, especially in the evening illumination.It has a special atmosphere.The room is spacious and comfortable, with a bathroom with both shower and bath.The view from the room's large windows is unrivalled.Yet, what was even more striking was the extraordinary helpfulness and attentiveness of the staff. Throughout our stay we felt important and they looked for ways to make our stay easy, comfortable and enjoyable. I would recommend the bar on the 26th floor, the view is wonderful. The roof terrace is also special, but the cold winter weather during our stay did not allow us to enjoy it, but even at this time of year it should not be missed for a few panoramic photos.

The prices of the hotel and restaurant are in line with the very high standard of service.
