Nothing to complain

The receptionists are very kind and responsive. Breakfast provided is good. The tiny robot is also cute. Hospitality provided is also good.

It could have been better if the hotel had a restaurant attached with it for dinner. Otherwise, the hotel is good.

It was nice and fresh.

While my stay at the hotel was generally pleasant, there were two aspects that I found disappointing.Firstly, the breakfast selection was heavily focused on Chinese cuisine, with most dishes being spicy or oily. As someone who isn’t accustomed to such flavors in the morning, I found it challenging to enjoy the meal. I would have appreciated a wider variety of international options—such as pastries, cottage cheese, or lighter Western-style dishes—to cater to guests from different backgrounds.Secondly, the English proficiency of the staff was quite limited. This made it difficult to communicate even basic requests, which at times caused confusion and inconvenience. Improving language skills among the staff would significantly enhance the experience for international visitors.

Language barrier!,like I booked for six days and I stay for four days only.Was trying to find out how to get refund for two day!.No proper explanation was given.

Room cleaning was really good. Bedrooms are so tidy by staff.

TV channels are all in Chinese, I would have liked a few English channels.

Received blood stained linens and coffee stained linens and got no compensation in return for sleeping in unhygienic conditions. The hotel should have compensated us for having us stay in unhygienic condition

At the Holiday Inn Pudong Shanghai, you'll be greeted by helpful and professional staff. The rooms, known for their cleanliness, brightness, and spaciousness, are comfortable retreats. While some are windowless, the hotel’s location is near various restaurants, coffee shops, and the Zhongke Road Metro (Line 13), which adds to its appeal. Lukin Coffee and Family Mart are just a few metres away, with a McDonald's next to the reception/entrance area. A mall within walking distance also offers more dining and shopping options.

The food was quite good in quality, but the breakfast choices were almost identical each day, so I did not go on sometimes during my stay.

The staff were fantastic. They helped with ordering taxis and general questions and were very helpful and attentive. Would stay again.

Unfortunately the breakfast area was in repair and so the hotel breakfast was MacDonalds. It was the only negative.

Hotel location is perfect

Metro is far from the hotelNo restaurant in the hotel, it is a contracted restaurant next to the hotel and food quality is so poor

Desktop personal is amazing, location is peaceful and central, breakfast is very good, excellent room, the hotel robot ? is funny ?.

Property was a little too warm for comfortable sleep in the evening. Mention this to the property however, should’ve requested a fan or if that was an option should’ve been offered a fan by staff.

It was clean and close to a subway station

The breakfast was really underwhelming. Paid for breakfast but only had it the one time. It was really bland.

Breakfast is really bad (sorry for these words). I had only one out of three and only some fruits, because the rest was not for eating

Breakfast was ok, location is kinda quiet. Basic necessity is available. The room was clean and comfortable. The smart room was equip with voice control.

Everything was alright except the location is a bit quiet.

The staff were nice and checking in was easy for a foreigner. It was a good room for a reasonable price. The hot shower was great.

Most of the breakfast foods were getting cold when I went there at 8. I wish there was a hot bath to relax and rest after a long day of flights.
