The QUBE Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao

it was brand new hotel in a safe area.

nothing around was opened since it's so new and finding it was a little difficult plus the room would not cool enough at night.

The property is walkable distance from NECC Shanghai. It’s in the outskirts but everything available nearby. It’s good for short terms and long term stays. Breakfast have variety, I was following fruitarian diet, so not able to test their food.

WC’s without shattaf was annoying

Location was very good near the auto show also the suites was so comfortable and spacious

It was little expensive also the staff doesn’t speak English It was surprising that the receptionist speaks only Chinese

Don’t recommend to stay if you’re not a smoker

We asked for non smoking room specifically. But room provided has heaving smoking traces. Windows cannot be opened so we felt stuck

Breakfast was good

No Vegan food and no food segragation for vegetarians

Everything was perfect

I had to pay pay through booking.com and in the property again, they said it would be refunded

A pleasant stay all round, staff were competent and friendly, close to Hongqiao station and airport

Single rooms not as in as good a state as suites.

Nice large clean room and friendly staff.

Bed was a little hard.

Clean, little gym open 24h. Good breakfast.

Not much going around the hotel, but good location if you need to catch the train from Hongqiao (still need to get a taxi though)

Air-conditioned not to cool

Rooms is very spacious...clean...very comfortable....the staff are very friendly....and very helpful. I forgot to bring my stuff from safety deposit...and they call me and try to send it to my home abroad. Luckily, a friend of mine who is about to take a trip there...pick it up for me.....and the hotel keep it safe till my friend arrived. Really appreciate it!...oh and it is a perfect hotel if you are going to visit any exhibition in NECC.

Clean, brand new and close to NECC. Didn’t have to walk far to get to the expo, whilst everyone was queuing for taxis I just needed to take the airbridge and a leisurely walk back. There’s a fruit shop and a plethora of really good restaurants in the area. Or if you want to play it safe there’s a McDonald’s too. Staff are really helpful and will use a translation app to communicate if need be. Bigger breakfast was also sensational and super tasty.

Couldn’t fault it.

The staff was helpful. Helped getting us get local SIM cards, money exchange and with location and chinese Apps. The room was clean. Great location. Good stay really. Next time I visit Shanghai I think I’ll come back

WiFi was poor

New, clean and comfortable room. Personnel is friendly and speaks English. Good location: less than 15 min walk to the nearest metro station (line 2 - direct to Airport Pudong PVG), 5-7 minutes walk to the entrances (Halls 5, 6, 7) - convenient for the exhibitions visitors. Breakfast in the hotel will keep you full long and a lot of food courts near the hotel for the dinner. I have found 2 small food shops and 2 fruit shops close to the hotel, but if you wanna go shopping more seriously, it will be necessary to go by taxi or metro somewhere.

Internet is not fast, but this is a common thing in China.

No comments-All good except for more Vegan options-Name tags should be put in front of food in buffet

when paid with credit card the staff didn't ask with currency we want to pay. and when i want change use local currency the staff said can't change to local currency. how come they don't know how to choose the currency we want to pay.

Great breakfast with good variety.

The bar closed too early. The wifi reception in the room was poor.

The room was the best room I've stayed at any property in the last 15 years of business travel. It was like a luxury apartment fully equipped. I totally didn't expect it to be so incredible. Unfortunately due to other commitments I had to cut my stay short and head to Singapore. So I only enjoyed 2 of the 4 nights that I had paid for. Breakfast was perfect, gym was well equipped. Location to the exhibition centre is walking distance and will take about 10 minutes.

The gym is in a strange location, quite exposed to passers by outside the hotel and hotel guests entering the lifts. I prefer gyms with a more private setting when I'm training.

The hotel is on excellent location, if your plan is to visit Exhibition. It really takes 3 minute walk to the entrance area and in terms of the location, this hotel is perfect for that - I think I will return. Hotel is new, as is all inside.

The complete area where hotel is located is new - it is still developing and I think, soon in future will be very lively place to stay. However, at this moment it is still like a new building that has not been occupied. It is very sterile. There are some restaurants, but the choice is limited.
