Fairfield by Marriott Shanghai Pudong

Had the hotel located in Down Town I would have liked it even better. This hotel where I stayed in Guangming is out of Shenzhen city centre. Commuting to hotel after work in Shenzhen is quite long and tiring. Breakfast needs some improvement. Lot of Chinese influence is there. Continental type food is very less.

There is no restaurant in this good hotel. This is the only draw back. However, staff are very friendly and helpful and they always come forward to book any meal we want.

A.P. Plaza is walking distance.

No nearby Metro sitation. Open toilet in the room.

Nice and clean and gentle people and good breakfasts

Placed at a silent address.

Missing the Laundry. The same brand in Shenzhen has a laundry free for use.

Room is modern with good air temperature

While being a member of the hotel group they would not allow me to register points as I booked the hotel through Bookings instead of directly. Not a good or fair customer loyalty system.

Hotel room is very clean & bed is comfortable.

1) Restaurant (breakfast) is really bad. I believe they are not following Marriot standards. One of the days the baguette have ice inside (literally a big piece of Ice) & I have to ask repeatedly time to make new bread, so, they just heated it up and serve it, but still very cold & wet inside.Also, only 1 coffee machine for the whole restaurant, so, or you will wait in line for coffee or you will need to wait while they throw away the coffee grounds.2) Not all staff speaks English. Some have an excellent customer service but others not fully.

Everything is perfect! Room is so cozy! Clean and very quiet. Bed is superb!But the toilet is literally in the room:) so it could be a problem if you travel not alone:)

Clean and well kept. Beds were firm and comfy. Breakfast was various and overall good. Close enough to a metro station (8-10 mins walk)

Location a bit problem to find out and WiFi didn’t work

After checking in to my room I noticed a smoke smell. I informed the staff and they moved me to a different room and it was an upgraded room, so I was happy.

The breakfast could have been more suited to westerners

Clean room with everything I needed. Metro station is about 15 minutes walking distance.

The room was extremely tiny and the promised city view was the wall of the next house. Also, it was quite difficult to find the hotel because it is not displayed in Apple Maps etc.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room service was also top-notch, the rooms perfectly clean every day and all the amenities replenished.There is also a convenience store connected with the hotel.

The breakfast were quite poor, the selection was quite limited and the food served was mostly Chinese. For a foreigner, even if you like Chinese cuisine, there is not much to enjoy.

breakfast is decent and there is a small supermart in side the hotel .. Its great.

Location is look good in map but its kind of ghost town area They charge you extra 300 rmb as deposit.... I checked out on 7th morning but but i didn't got my deposit back, rooms are small and your toilet seat will be next to your bed.

The breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and gives you an idea of traditional Chinese cuisine.

It’s not that close to the nearest station and if you have luggage, getting to the hotel could be troublesome.

The room was cleaned every day and the staff was really helpful, let's not forget how there was a dedicated built-in store in the hotel if u wanted some snacks or water.

It was kinda cold in the room and yes there was an AC which helped but sadly the controls were right next to the door so in the morning I had to wake up just to turn it on and get back into the bed.

Good services, the rooms re clean and new. The staff can speak limited English but they tried their best to help you. The breakfast was very vood too.

very nice hotel , close to exhibition centre , and 10 minutes walk from metro station area is quiet and peaceful. super market just inside the hotel - courteous and helpful staffbreakfast was decent -staff was helpful and arrange didi taxi when i had to go somewhere.room was spacious , with all amenities and facilities.
