Good location and decent room. The room was getting hot and I asked the reception to send a fan and they immediately sent it.

The room ac was not working. I understand it was winter but it was very hot in the room.

The location is nice, convinient. It’s near the bund and Nanjing road. Rooms are clean and comfortable

Location is fantastic. Walk distance from various tourist places. The neighborhood is very good with lots of restaurants

conditioning was an issue, asked them to look at it, we left the door and windows open, but there was some construction going on so got noisy early morning

Good location, when using the key in the elevator, you don't need to additionally press your floor.

Initially, they gave a room near the server room, where there was an unbearably loud noise. I asked to be moved to another room.Mosquitoes are flying in, there are no nets on the windows

Impressive Art Deco building in a good location. We upgraded to a superior room on the 12th floor with magnificent views towards The Bund and the skyscrapers in Pudong. All the facilities and amenities one would expect from a hotel of this size and reputation.

Surprised that the main entrance to the hotel was up a short but steep flight of steps. I assume there is another access for disabled guests. Breakfast was good but there could have been more items for anyone wanting a European continental breakfast e.g. more choice of preserves, breads, pastries. Despite it being a non smoking hotel our room smelled strongly of smoke when we returned one evening. I reported this to the concierge who was apologetic but offered no explanation.

The reception was not helpful at all and they didn’t speak enough English even. The breakfast also was not that good and the light of the room was quite dim

Location was perfect, easy to find.Hotel has nicely decorated rooms, nice bathroom, good beds..everything that us importaint for a traveller

We arrived in the evening and it was quiet. On stepping out of the Hotel into the plaza/street area I experienced an old world Shanghai feeling ...quite unique....like I had stepped back in time. The Hotel itself has that feeling too....comforting. The location was great, walkable to the Bund, River, Museums, shopping, Restaurants. The breakfast was varied and tasty. Staff in the Dining room and on the door were all helpful and all staff were kind.

The hotel located in the prime area in Shanghai, just a few minutes walk from the Bund, with plenty of shops, restaurant around. Thanks for the hotel Manager Chole, we've got upgraded to an amazing suite with fantastic views of the Bund, the bed and linen are comfort, the bathroom is spacious and clean, everything to the satisfaction.

Despite a small hiccup while checking in late night, everything else was perfect.

The Metropolo hotel is spatial, quiet, relaxing, and - more than anything else - stylish down to the last art deco details. Solid and unique ambient and furniture create a luxurious atmosphere akin to Shanghai's golden age

Few staff were kind and respectful. But majority were rude

Very clean, good size room, great position for the centre of Shanghai. The staff were very helpful. A big thank you to Harry, Lilian and Chloe excellent customer service. All the staff were very helpful. Very good breakfast.

Excellent location and spacious room. About 8 mins walk to Nanjing road, the pedestrian shopping street. About 10 mins walk to the bund. Enjoy my stay

Need a little bit updating such as the lamp light switch cover fell off when trying to use. But I enjoyed my stay so will use again
