The location is quite good. It is connected to a big shopping mall. So it is very convenient.

Some of the facilities in the room are a little bit old. The breakfast is not very tasty.

Excellent premises, friendly staff, big potential

Very very bad English skills, need to use more than one elevators to reach the rooms. Limited availability of restaurants. No ATM. Breakfast pretty ok, but Western food has a weird taste, not even normal ham or cheese cutter for bread.

Our stay was really enjoyable, the room was spacious with good view. buffet breakfast had so many options and it is located within the shopping centre, very convenient for shopping and dining. We will be coming back next time we are in Shanghai!

The location is great, connecting directly to the Hopson department Store where one could find a lot of restaurants, shops, etc. The breakfast has more or less everything I like, except Xiao Long Bao. I requested an addition of a kid bed, which made the room a bit tight, but there is still enough space for all our 4 luggage and 4 backpacks. The swimming pool is great, slightly shallow for adults, but great for kids, with a big hot whirlpool (with bubble massages) next to the swimming pool, as well as Sauna and Hamma in the dressing rooms.

The toilet in the room is not equipped with a Japanese cover, which is surprising to see it in a 5-star hotel and a bit disappointing to us, though it is not too much an issue.To go down to the ground floor, one would need to take 2 different elevators, with the 2nd one partially connecting to the underground parking.The hotel did not have option of pay in advance when I was booking it, only "pay at hotel". This is not convenient and in the end I paid more due to the rate change.

Comfortable bed, location, swimming poor

The room temperature was a little too warm to me but that’s personal preference not fault of the property.

The staff are helpful. The rooms are clean and the location is very convenient as it links to a big mall full of restaurants. The shower facilities are satisfying. I do like their shampoo and shower gel they choose. It is a hotel with a taste.

I paid with a different card from the card I reserved. However, The staff couldn't cancel the pre-authorization completely of my previous reserved credit card. Hence he had to charge CNY 1 yuan which actually cost me CNY 15 foreign currency charge. I hope they could just cancel the reserved card completely which is a normal action to most of hotels I lived in. Another thing is the traffic jam is pretty bad when entering the hotel by car. It is not their fault. But that was a pain everytime we commute.

Clean, specious and friendly staff. Nice options to eat and shop next to hotel.

In winter time rooms temperature can get really hot (26 Celsius) and no possibility to change it.

Location

Our room was on level 13 and we could constantly smell of Chinese cooking. Feel like there was a chinese kitchen right underneath our room.

Good service

No lounges at the reception. Only a couple of high chair in the corner of force people to go in to buy coffee or drinks. This is terrible for a so called 5 staff hotel as people inevitably have to wait to check in or wait for guests coming down to meet

5 points go out to the facility that Hyatt has to offer. 0 point goes out to the service and comfort they provide.Before the trip, we already knew that we would be landing in Shanghai at 3am in the morning and be at the hotel around 6am so we called beforehand to see if there is any chance that we could check in earlier. The person on the phone was nice and said they would try their best to let us check in early so we, in particular our daughter could rest a bit after a 14-hour flight.We arrived at the hotel around 6am and the hotel manager was yelling profanity in front of our 7-year daughter. That left a miserable first impression. I do not care if people swear in their private life, but please, that's not the first thing you wanna hear with your kids when you first walk into any hotel, let alone Hyatt.We stated our purpose and the wish to check-in. "No, that's not possible."Can we at least stay in the lobby and freshen up? " No, there is no lobby."How can a 4-star hotel like Hyatt has no lobby, no place to sit for its guest? " Because we are a commercial entity, we do not have any obligation to provide any seating area."How about the nice-looking area right behind the reception? "No, that area is only for events, not for guests".By then my daughter was just so tired and wanted to sleep on the tiled floor, he directed us to a bar table with 3 bar stools and told us that was the only option. The breakfast area is not open yet, but if it is, we need to pay CNY 189 per person for the breakfast. I do not mind paying a higher price for breakfast, but we weren't hungry. We were simply tired from the long-haul travel and wanted somewhere to sit down a bit.We were so frustrated that we decided to find somewhere, anywhere, that we could let our daughter sleep a bit. The hotel manager saved my contact and promised to message me when the room was ready for check-in.Big surprise, he never called or messaged.

location is very good, easy access to subway. Right next to shopping malls, a lot of good options for food.

Room A/C broke once, there was water accumulating on the ground. Though the fix was done the next day in a timely manner. It could be dangerous at night as one might slip and fall.

Breakfast was great with selections ranges from eastern and western food. The coffee was ok but on the bland side. Location of this hotel is great. Very close to the subway.

A/c leaked water but the fix was quick In the next day. But there was water accumulated on the floor and could be dangerous for older ppl.

I wish there is good lobby area so that guests can have a good time with other guests too.I wish there is other meals available.I wish there is better facilities available.I wish all toiletries are changed everyday.
