The St. Regis on the Bund, Shanghai

Very nice and comfortable rooms, the gym, sauna, pool and and the view to the Bund is unique.

He overall design and quality of materials made it feel sumptuous and such a treat to be there. Entire staff was professional and lovely. The views of the Bund from our room and Spago (restaurant— also recommend) were amazing! Even the tub had a beautiful view. Breakfast was very good with many good quality choices including dim sum and fresh salad bar. Loved the location for wandering and the park nearby.

Being asked if we wanted to upgrade when checking in. It’s fairer to just explain the views from your room in the descriptions so we can pay for what we want and have proper expectations. Discussing this at check-in feels tacky. The only other thing was the placement of the large TV in the room — it was right in front of the window and view! It could be mounted on a wall. I wouldn’t care if there wasn’t a TV in the room at all.

The mattress was not suitable for those with back pain. The pillows caused neck pain, even after trying different types. Breakfast was average; I expected more options. However, the presence of pork near the eggs, salad, and cheese was completely inappropriate and made no sense.

The room was very bad, small and had a bad view as it overlooked the air conditioning units. The bathroom was uncomforta

when I arrived, The manager Michael Chen greeted really well, very kind and helpful at the front desk. And great conversation. He made me feel very at ease for my first stay at St Regis.William Marconi

The room had a fantastic view of the Huangpo river. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom had a wonderful tub. The location of the hotel is very central and walking distance to the Bund and local attractions. The concierge was excellent and and very attentive to our needs. We enjoyed a wonderful massage in the hotel spa.

I was very disappointed as we changed rooms as there was pealing paint in the shower and some electrical issue in the washroom sink area and the butler service moved our things.When we checked our things the next day my bag ,straightening iron and Hermes sandal was missing.I called the butler service and the manager but still they couldn’t find our stuff.Now we r back home and I have checked thoroughly and still I can’t find these things.Highly disappointing stay.Will never again stay at St Regis.

Thank you for arranging a cake for my brothers birthday twice . The hospitality, friendly staff , rooms , breakfast & location were all great .

All details were taken care of. The general manager was very kind to us, suggesting that we have dinner at the hotel, and it was absolutely amazing. The views of our panoramic room were amazing.Staff were very attentive, the location is super, very close to Yu Gardens and to the Bund.

The occidental breakfast had lots of options, but we struggled to get what we ordered from the waitress as not all of them speak English. Make sure you speak to an English-speaking waiter.

Some furniture is already worn out.Many of the staff don’t speak English..

Everything was fine, delicious breakfast, clean rooms. Only 2 things were questionable: 1 - the safe in the room, which opens vertically, the lid does not stay on and it is not convenient to put things in it. 2 - tea for breakfast, absolutely mediocre, in a country where there is a cult of tea, serving such a mediocre drink is blasphemous. These are all little things that can be solved in one day and you will be priceless!))

Everything was excellent—a beautiful hotel with lovely rooms and stunning views. The staff was very polite and accommodating.

Very elegant and clean but expensive

The a.c it’s hot the temperature goes until 25 degrees and no control but the staffs come and repair it two times

What a very kind team !They have done a wonderful job The room in which they upgraded me, was gigantic .Extraordinary natural stone work, I have not seen before !

Very upscale property a little detached from the main Nanjing Rd area. Very close walk to Yu’s garden.

The rooftop lounge was closed due to renovations.

The staff was very helpful and kindly and the employee (Alice) from the Bar was very kindly and helpful and i am grateful and happy for her help and making my stay at the hotel more comfortable.

Amazingly lavish finishes. Certainly the most lavish in all my travels. Great breakfast and dinner buffet.

While the staff tried very hard and were friendly there was a surprisingly limited amount of English spoken given the 5 star rating

The location of the hotel is a straight road about 15mins away from Nanjing Road. There are good restaurants within the hotel.

The breakfast buffet selection is disappointing with little variety and selection.

The room was amazing, the roof top bar as well. Love the Japanese restaurant, top class!
