4 star room, small and kind of old.

The pool section is dated and no umbrellas and the mandatory bathing cap is really disappointing and makes us not wanting to go back.

Everything!!! It’s skittle dated design wise, and not Toto toilet, but the room is spacious, we maintained and that bed is heavily! Love the spa area too, I just wish it was easier to access (you need to sing in and get a key), and open linger hours.

the rooms are extremely outdated -- this is my only complaint about the hotel.

hotel place is great and breakfast choices was 6\10 as I only ate from western and it's little choices but fair, room was clean and everything you need there except there is no water heater.

We used the buffet breakfast once… very good It’d be nice if the breakfast is included in the price, or a big discount with the booking.

did not realize that I got charged for not having the room cleaned daily - the daily rate in my invoice reflected different rates.

high speed elevator too loud. I had to use earplug for sleep. i wish the hotel could upgrade the toilet to the bidet model .

The property is modern, well run but what brings it forth is the customer service, Ashley at the counter was kind and professional not to mention accomodating, Lily and all the other staff were equally on par, I would highly recommend this hotel, and this is something I have rarely done in hundreds of work travels

Swimming pool and SPA

The staff went above and beyond in all situations. We couldn't have felt more cared for. The room was a twin double but the beds were large and comfortable. The food in the Club Lounge was excellent and the facilities of the Club were well maintained and elegant.

The sink in the bathroom is bigger than those in other hotels. They are generous with the towels which are replaced daily.

- Old and outdated hotel that has failed to keep up with technological development;- The elevators are extremely annoying, the cards never worked, and everyday you see frustrating guests going up and down the elevators not able to reach the floors where their rooms are;- There are six elevators in the main lobby, but the ushers just love to stuff and stuff and stuff everyone in the same elevator, not sure what sort of energy-saving policy it is;- Need to go around the room to turn on and off each and every lighting one by one, no centralized control;- Disorganized and crowded breakfast place;- Not sure how this hotel managed to get the ritz-carlton brand.

Very good location, center of Shanghai. Lots of department stores, restaurants, the Jinan Temple, Jintan Park are all walking distance.

The breakfast was ok, not much changed during our stays. The waitress were not attentive, no one told us when the breakfast would close the first day. Used dishes were not taken away while we were eating. Room was a little small too

The hotel is lovely and very comfortable although it’s a bit dated now and lacks some modern features like an in room coffee machine, power hairdryer and all in one light switch. Despite this the hotel facilities are well maintained and the rooms spacious and very comfortable. The staff are very professional and provide great service. I was very grateful for the yoga mat placed in my room. There are shops, cafes and a small supermarket nearby.

The iron in my room didn’t work - it leaked water. It would be great to have proper coffee machines in the room.

Good location, nice surroundings. Staff team was great. They set up balloons and cake for our celebration. So cute, very impressive.
