Atour Hotel Shanghai Xintiandi Metro Station

Had a wonderful stay. The hotel is very clean and modern, and the staff truly goes above and beyond to be helpful. You can’t beat the location! it's just a short walk to Xintiandi Square and the metro, making exploring Shanghai so easy. Highly recommend for both service and convenience!

The only downside was a major issue with the laundry room. Since the laundry service is free, it is very popular, but unfortunately, someone previously used bleach in the machine. This ruined all the clothes I washed. I informed the reception at checkout; they were helpful and tried to find a solution, but the damage was already done. I advised them to check the machines immediately so it doesn't happen to other guests. It was a shame as it ruined my wardrobe, but I appreciate the staff's effort to help.

Great stay in Xintiandi — steps from the metro and a wonderful local market for breakfast, plus the hotel breakfast itself was very good. The room isn’t huge, but larger and more modern than many Shanghai hotel rooms, so it worked well. This location is priced a bit higher compared to other Atour properties, but given the convenience and area. Would return.

Although some of the staff don’t speak much English, they were all very friendly and went out of their way to help us. There was a bit of road work in front of the hotel, and they thoughtfully arranged a quiet room for us. The hotel is very clean, smells fresh, and feels calm and relaxing—not busy at all. I really loved my stay here. If I come back to Shanghai, I’ll definitely choose Atour again!

The staff are superb. Friendly and helpful. The environment is clean and safe.

It would be useful if the bathroom has a bidet spray.

I will definitely return on my next trip to Shanghai!

Despite the limited command of English amongst the staff. That is just a minor issue. As long as they were dedicated to ensuring every piece of information was clarified and addressed. On the downside, the mini gym was far too small—it might have been better repurposed as a space for a few subsidized massage chairs for guests to relax while waiting for their laundry.

So very near to Xindianti Mrt station, exit 1 & 2. Walking distance to many attractions. Very clean with super new fittings. Free onsite laundry. Pleasant staff who endlessly offered bottles of water when we went out for day outing.

Was given a non smoking room which a smoker had once occupied. There was a persistent stench throughout stay inspite of the air filter provided.

It is near with the Metro station. Just walk in 10mins time able reach. It is convenient for us as tourist for short stay and visit Shanghai. Their staff all very kind. We can use their laundry's with FOC! This is what I feel so surprised with facilities they provide.

I rent 4 rooms. Found certain rooms with some bad smells. We have notice with the receptionist, but then they willing assist us for this method immediately.

Staff is super efficient and friendly. They honestly try to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Location is awesome. Conveniently located in the heart of shopping, food and bars. Rooms are clean and they also have in house laundry facilities that we can use for free. Also provide light supper for free.

If anything, the rooms are small.

Quite modern, boutique, with young friendly staff. Comfortable beddings and powerful shower. Nice little touches eg. Reading/book shelf area in the lobby area and later night Chinese congee corner.

Young staff not speaking much English, limited knowledge about international standards/customs in hospitality business. Cleaning lady keeps replacing my bath towels unnecessarily every single day even though I put it back on the rack. The gym is super tiny and no privacy (people come in and out to pass the gym to the communal laundry area)

This is a 'great, but...' hotel.Super great location (Xintiandi), but in front of a big construction place. 6.00 am already lot's of noise.Modern room, but everything everything in Chinese. Even the aircon. No idea how to change. Plugs all Chinese.Plug for USB C, but it didn't work.Nice people, but nobody nobody speaks English.Invoice, but in Chinese.Summary: not an international hotel that should not be on Booking.com
