Meego Smart Select Hotel

The hotel was very well located. The room was a little on the smaller side, but was good anne everything was very clean.

One upside down is that they don’t have elevators. The good thing is that I was only traveling with a cabin luggage, so I could easily handle this situation, but someone with more luggage should be aware of this.

Friendly and kind staffs.We arrived late midnight, thanks for allowing us to check in at 3am.The room was clean, no odd smells.Bed was comfortable.Location quite ok with nearby convenience mart / restaurants.

The workers were polite and helpful. I do not know about the location. It might depend where you need to go. We booked it as it was close to the exhibition center.

It was quite different from what I expected. It was smaller hotel that has few rooms. As soon as I enter the entrance I was disappointed. The carpet was very dirty. I do not understand why they do not change carpets and paint the stairs. At night when I got up there was a cockroach next to the bed. The room was too small and it was very uncomfortable.

Great location for great value. Especially loved the staff member who was there at night times, she was so helpful and kind, she assisted us with so many things each night we were there. When we checked in at 2 am, she offered to switch our room from a smaller room with stairs to a single story room with a larger bed for convenience free of charge! From helping us fix the door, to ordering food for us on her phone, teaching us how to use things, even catching a small bug for us. So patient and kind! Our rooms were made with clean towels every night, and there were many nearby bus stops/also very close to the train station. Neighborhood was quiet and pretty as well! The rooms had no window, which was actually really nice because the room was completely pitch black when we slept, so we had the best sleep! Hope to visit again in the future!

the location is wonderfull , it is very close to Subway station , supermarket, bank and so on...

The lady receptionist was very helpful and politeThe location of this hotel is near with mall,cross the road have supermarket which u can buy groceries.There is also halal muslim restaurant just in ground floor,the price was very cheap.The room was too big,have aircond,kettle,towel and the shower pressure was good.The hotel was very clean,the bed was extra big size and the most important thing u can charge your phone using cable no need universal plug.There is near MRT station walking distance 400m so it was very convenient

It might be difficult for those carry heavy bag because there is no lift,but with the price is was superb .Nothing much to complaint

The biggest downside of this hotel is that the rooms are too small, barely fitting one suitcase, and the soundproofing is terrible. However, considering the location and price, it is acceptable.

Nice place immersed in Shanghai's everyday life. Walking distance to metro station, no shortage of all sorts of stores and restaurants around, from down-scale to up-scale end everything in between.

I can suggest only very small three improvements like more adjustable reading lamp by the bed for those who actually want to use it for reading, square table instead of round for more convenient work on the laptop and more tight shower handle holder. Other than than that it was perfect.

The newly furnished bathroom made getting ready in the morning a pleasure. I was initially worried about having no windows, it turned out to be no issue. There’s a supermarket right across from the hotel. The location was great for me since I wanted to stay outside the crowded tourist areas. I got to experience the local vibe while still being able to visit the city easily by taxi.

1. It's quite noisy (2F)... you could hear people talking loudly, passing by the room and banging doors.2. Since it’s a smart hotel, I expected the toilet to have a washlet/bidet (sad)3. The staff didn’t speak English at all4. No elevator

All in all a very nice stay . It’s was quiet at night . I would stay again .

They are renovating , I would wait until renovations are completed before going back . The washing machine and dryer apps are all in Chinese . A washing machine is simple to operate in any other country, but no if your a foreigner in china .

The girls at the reception were really kind and helpful. Everything was very clean. The bed was very comfortable.

The hotel is a great option if you literally just want a bed to sleep and a place to shower. It's clean and comfortable, and has everything you need, including a small sitting area if you want to work. The location is also great and there is a supermarket right opposite the hotel if you happen to need anything.

There is no elevator so you'll have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs, but it wasn't that bad to be honest. The hotel room is very small, just enough for you to put down your luggage and have a little more space to walk to the bathroom, etc. But it was okay for the both of us. If you are a solo traveller, it is more than enough space.

Construction was going on all day which was rough. Rooms are quite small

Considering the price, this hotel is the best choice in Shanghai and very clean.

The cigarette smell coming through the ventilation system is quite severe.

Room smelled like a smoker room. The hotel is under construction. You are inside a job site from 7:30 to 18:30. Construction didn’t really stop on Sunday as well! I told the receptionist to have a discount, that I obtained, and to tell in advance about the hotel construction state, the noise is really unbearable.

Heated Toilet makes you warm during cold weather of Shanghai and room equipped with modernized facilities. 10 minutes walk from Metro stations.

Unfortunately, during our stay, the upstairs were being renovated and noise from construction started entering since 7:30am.
