Location of the reception, concierge services -difficult to receive online purchases. The concierge refuses to receive online purchases unless the guest is checked in. Other hotels have no issue receiving online purchase deliveries prior to the guest checking in.

Excellent location in Huancheng Square, easily accessible from the airport on Line 3 and the APM, handy to Mall of the World. Walk through the park which feels very safe, or ride to the Opera House and the Pearl River. The room was very quiet with a separate half bathroom, large TV and electric blinds and curtains, and extra pillows.

The lobby being on the 22nd floor was a little inconvenient.

Walkable to Canton Tower. Near to green park. Near to office buildings. Hot water jacuzzi was relaxing. Good view from window.

Far from Metro and Good shopping malls. Lift system.

This was our 4th booking in this hotel, we ordered a long period stay and when we came we asked for high floor. We got an answer there us only 8th floor but after we insisted surprisingly a 14th floor was found.. so why not to give it immediately... that's the reason for 9 and not 10.

On the positive side, the hotel is excellently located in one of the most beautiful areas of the city.

This was my fourth stay at this hotel, and in the past, everything lived up to the five-star standard. However, that’s no longer quite the case. Grand Hyatt is a brand you normally trust and don’t expect unpleasant surprises from. But now, this particular hotel is no longer flawless.The room is noticeably worn with age — the furniture, the bathroom, everything is so old that even a thorough cleaning no longer helps. Rusty and possibly moldy stains, as well as limescale, can be seen throughout the bathroom. For people with OCD, this would be unbearable.The hotel staff speaks very little in foreign languages, and both check-in and check-out were painfully slow. Upon departure, they tried to charge me again for the room, even though it had been fully paid for at check-in. When I pointed this out, the staff member seemed surprised but immediately acknowledged the payment. What that was all about remains a mystery.

The location is very convenient, just 5 mins walk to large malls and right next to the park; the room is very comfortable, especially the bed; the staff is polite and very easy to communicate with.

Just details: in the breakfast space the food is too spread out; often same hotel categories rooms have coffee machine, welcome food etc, here only the kettle with teabags; the bathroom and toilet area isn't big.

In general, all team members were helpful, knowledgeable and engaging, a credit to your establishment.Highlights - 1. First impressions, the reception on the twenty second floor had spectacular views of the Canton Tower, simple wow!2. The room, beautiful design and fantastic performance by the house keeping team. Please pass along my sincere thanks to your team.3. The breakfast, such a superb variety of foods catering to all tastes, a fantastic experience. 4. Support, due to personal reasons I had to cut my trip short and return home. The reception team accommodated this request without hesitation which was appreciated.

Lowlights - none, really enjoyed my stay. Opportunity to improve - having a coffee pod preparation machine in the room would have been the icing on the cake for International visitors.

The room is quite old. Nothing has changed since my last stay at the hotel. The room i was assigned to had wood splinters and my wife stepped on a couple and were lucky to be wearing the hotel slippers, otherwise the injury would have been worse

Rooms were boiling hot, AC didn’t work, rooms were dirty and bead uncomfortable no western TV channels property needs a refurb

The breakfast is superb! A lot of options for the fresh juice. The bed is nice but I don't think the room has the heater or just me that couldn't find it, so a bit cold at night.

Kinda hard to have a conversation with the receptionist regarding the bill but overall is still nice.

Wall and furniture are showing signs of age. The view from my room is blocked by another building.

I can not rate this hotel and staff any higher. I had a medical emergency and they were amazing. I would like to make special mention to Vicky, Susan and Cherry for the exception care they had for me while sick and needed medical attention.

-great location in the centre of best of Guangzhou, convenient to everything, downstairs is very beautiful garden -breakfast quality superior, staff polite-driver pick up from the airport and send off are very courtesy and help with the luggage-bedroom is clean, house keeping staff very good;

-bathroom and toilet very obselete and small, mouldy, need to be renovation straight away, I can tell cleaning staff try their best;-swimming pool is very basic, not comfortable in the way of cleanness and politeness of staff;-check in staff the girl very rude, she asked me and my husband whether we need a separate room despite our booking is one room;

Excellent location you can walk to main plaza and hubs of transportation.

Staff were not very friendly. When checking in, the receptionist was not useful at all when I asked about my invoicing. He basically did not want to go and figure out how to do it and just wanted me to accept his reply but I’ve been to many hotels in China and I knew I was not asking anything impossible. After 20 minutes of impoliteness, he went and found out how to do it, which he could have done since the very beginning.

Grand Hyatt is the most affordable 5 star hotel you can get in the centre of Canton. I think it’s a great choice if you’re traveling for work: convenient location and great service for a good price. And you don’t have to spend 2 minutes in elevator every time you want to go to your room (the hotel isn’t a skyscraper unlike the neighboring buildings)The pool is great!

Grand Hyatts are known to be older than Park Hyatts. I didn’t like the view, the room’s layout (it was like a maze), the amenities (smell bad ?)Eventually, I moved out into my favorite Park Hyatt)
