Liuhua Hotel

It is very close to everything. Very easy to walk to all the major markets in guangzhou.

The staff in the hotel makes all the necessary efforts to speak english, although, it is hard to understand but they try their best to help.

*Location.* Bed linen was soft

* My bed was super HARD.* Fitness center-CLOSED so I couldn't work out, I only book hotels with gyms.* Breakfast buffet was - HoRibLe - not much for westerners.* People smoking in the elevator*1st room they checked me into STUNK of cigarette smoke

The room key never worked. It was an extremely frustration experience. The hotel is outdated.

Average hotel for stay !

Breakfast wrote till 10 am and we be there 9:30 but in 9:40 staff gathering all item ! And several guest like us didn’t enjoyed breakfast!

If you are coming to Guangzhou for shopping this is great location between Kinbo and Baiyun World Leather Center .

The lobby doesn’t have any furniture ??

Old property , Aircond no function properly and when we call the maintenance people they simply come over and said this is how our Aircond and you have to accept it , and during breakfast we was 9.20 am and they staff started scolded us for being late because they wanted to close 9.30 am

Air condition not cooling. Not enough light in the room, and not a single English-speaking staff!

The bathrooms are in need of modernisation and deep cleaning as they have mould that not being cleaned by normal cleaning

The staff is very nice and helpful

Mosquitoes.I was disturbed by mosquitoes for 2 days. But after that they took care of that and i was Ok.

The rooms were spacious and hotel was located close to market

The room heating wasn't working and upon asking the staff I was told that heating would only be turned on once outside temperature drops to 5deg C.

We booked three rooms in the hotel for around a week, when we did check out, we saw an extremely unfriendly man. And he took extra money for all rooms , because we did check out at 2 pm Also The room was empty since morning.The recipient staff was bad, specially that man who did check out for us Hounsltly, I don’t advise anyone to come again as long as the staff the same.

Wifi doesn’t work. Phone in the room doesn’t work. Asked for change from reception. Was told to go to a shop not belonging to hotel. Aging hotel. Probably ok in the 90’s

Location is perfect

All beds are separated in rooms with a view, there was no buffet breakfast

the location is great for any of the main markets which could be as little as a few minutes to the leather market which is behind the hotel or to the main fashion, watch and other clothing markets a 10-15 minute walk. Staff are brilliant and very helpful especailly at the front desk and restaurant.The restaurant is in the hotel and whilst there are loads of places to eat in the area (within a short walk) this is wholesome chinese food and very good value for money.

The room could have been a bit cleaner and there is a residual smell of smoke from the AC but i suspect its normal at most hotels given how many folks smoke here. I am a non smoker so maybe noticed it more than others. Worht noting that the ATM over the road from the hotel serves the odd dodgy 100 yuan note so be careful when getting money out. Apart from that a solid stay.
