The view from the south facing rooms is spectacular!

They did not respond to my request for confirmation of room type, but at checkin it was what I had ordered. Also they do charge for wifi.

The staffs are helpful and friendly. The hotel is located next to the Guangdong Railway and Metro station which is convenient for you to go anywhere. Walking distance to shopping malls and many restaurants.

Breakfast is amazing looks like Sheraton but the price of the room at Westin is way more affordable.

We really enjoyed our stay in Westin, stayed for 4 nights. Convenient location, less than 500m from Linhexi metro, lots of eateries nearby. Room is very comfortable and clean, everything worked. The breakfast offered an interesting variety of Western and Chinese cuisine. The manager Mr Michael Zheng n the team of staff (like Aescn, Hence, Alex) were very helpful, approachable and attentive.

Good location, near several options for shopping and restaurants.

Breakfast had fewer options than other Westin hotels.

The Hotel Area is so nice, The entire hotel is very clean, specially the staff helped me a lot. I have lost my wallet T Didi car the helped me out to get it back. I am so happy to stay in Guangzhou Westin.

Found cockroach in the room and pool was not clean.

Location was very close to train station however still need to take a taxi there

Location is great, safe area I could walk to a few local places. Really good and attentive staff!

The air conditioner is not working properly. On the first day the room was smelling of a cigarette. The location is good. We liked the breakfast.

The breakfast pastries were the best I have ever eaten - the pastry chef is a treasure.Overall facilities very good.

The property is "down at heel" in need of a refurbishment. They present what they have as best they can but a major refresh is required.I was surprised at the lack of good English speaking concierge staff - google translate was the go in pretty much every interaction. Communication therefore was limited. I was there on business so not so much of a problem, but a tourist would be very restricted in discovering anything about the city.

The room was a very good size and beds were comfortable.

The furniture and fittings are showing there age, bedsides have water rings.

The choice of food for breakfast was absolutely delicious and something for everyone The food at the Prego restaurant was out of this world and very well presented, compliments to the chefs it was fantastic.

Reception staff was rude. the rooms are old and need an update and extra lighting.the airconditioner was stuck on 25 degrees and when maintenance came they could only reset it it to 23 degrees, the room was therefore very hot.No transport to the Canton Fair.Apart from Leo, the concierge, did not understand anything we asked for and had to rely on google translate to actually get anything done.No Bonvoy marriot points earned if you book through Booking.com (THIS IS A HUGE LET DOWN AS NO WHERE DID IT EXPLAIN THIS). You stay at Marriott hotels because you are a Bonvoy member and to get to the hotel and not get upgraded, not have access to the lounge is totally disappointing.

'Additional' deposit of 2000 yuen for possible 'incidentals' at the time of check-in and the refund being processed a week later. This is UNFAIR.

A very spacious room with equally spacious bathroom. Breakfast was definitely excellent with a wide selection of food , responsive staff and a small play area for the children, so that everyone can enjoy the breakfast in peace. Metro (line 3 ) is walking distance, about 300 m away.
