Grand Palace Hotel（Grand Hotel Management Group）

Location was excellent for our purposed, a short walk to the Metro, lovely neighborhood, good restaurant for dinner, convenience store on site, and great staff. Breakfast was varied.

Big room, much space, great location, walking distance to east railway station and mall, breakfast

Good : The location has a mall and station about 5 mins walk away Bad: The room and hallway have a very strong smoking smell in the air circulation. Tho there is wifi , the WiFi blocks those commonly used app and does not allow travellers to use apps of their origin location., I have to basically use my own roaming data for my works. The TV is not have a single landline connected to it. Which make both the WiFi and TV not usable and redundant

great location close to metro and railway stations. convenience store in the lobby is very, well, convenient.

Cigarette smoke drifting in from neighboring "non smoking" rooms and rock hard matress. Exhaust fan in bathroom did not work so bathroom would turn into a sauna when showering.

We did not opt for breakfast. Location was good. Facilities were worn out. Service was ok but could be much better.

Room was very dark.

Very accessible by any transportation taxi or train surrounded by restaurants and shops

Location is good as it is close to the Railway Station and subway and price us reasonable.

Very near to the Metro station. Walking distance of 5-7 mins. They have a continent store in the hotel which is very useful if you have forgotten something.

Staff knows little English, which may be uncomfortable sometimes, I needed complementary water that day , when I asked on call they couldn't understand..finally I had to use a translator app to call them up to my room and have to show water bottles to make them understand.

Near train station

Nil. Just did not like the driver who fetched us from airport to grand palace hotel. He was impatient and drive on the emergency lane which was very dangerous. Totally unfriendly and muttered under his breath complaining .

Large room , conveniently located, good value

A nice hotel close to the railway station, easy to find. A good quite beautiful room with comfortable bed. Good to stay for a couple of nights.

Service of filling complimentary things was not filled. Empty bottles were not removed from the counter.

Hotel is old. Bathroom fitting, mirror frame and carpet were old.

the location of the hotel is perfect and close to all facilities , the stuff were very nice and helpful , the room was very clean and well organized with large space

the stuff didn't speak English well and they use translator

The staff was helpful and room was clean. It is close to malls and train/subway.

Hotel's location is good and easy to find, right next to the Guangzhou East Railway station and has a few shops/dim sum/food places around. For the price you pay, the room has all the amenities you need for a short stay.

The lighting in the room is not sufficient and we were disturbed twice during the night with a call from the reception desk regarding the smoke detector (seemingly went off), even though there was no smoke or steam in our room.

It was a great room and very comfortable bed ,very clean

Staf need to speak english at the reception as not everyone can speak chinese and google translate it does not work to translate .

The location is excellent, just by the road and next to signature Japanese and steakhouse restaurants. The breakfast is worth the cost, including occidental options.

The cleaning of rooms could be better.
