Good value, helpful staff when I mentioned some guests smoking on the no smoking floor and offer for room change or ventilated the room

The carpet looks old and the smoke odour was very strong due to inconsiderate other guests that were smoking inside the room and ignored no smoking floor sign

Very nice location - close to the Zoo and downtown, the room was clean, and the staff is friendly and always ready to help

The breakfast is not bad

First of all, I'm very curious how this hotel get all the good review and the high rating?Staff attitude is bad. Asking for extra mineral water in the front desk, she did gave to me, but show a black face. I'm not sure is this the culture of this hotel.Location: if u come here for travel, this is not a good location. Unless u only come for the Zoo.Cleanliness: the second day I came out from the hotel restaurant, I saw a BIG RAT ? running from the restaurant side to the toilet. The hotel is old, the housekeeping staff just simply clean ur room, the hotel glass I use from day 1, I leave it there, and the hpusekeeping staff also leave it unclean till the day I check out. U will meet someone deliver meat and stuff in the lift, because the hotel is inside the building with other office and steamboat restaurant. So everybody is using the same lift.For the same price, u can get better hotel at better location. Like Beijing Road, I think can get even cheaper and newer hotel. And in Beijing Road is very convenient.

English problem

The room is big and clean.

I have requested Non-Smoking room but when I check in at level 15, there's smell in the room. On the 3rd day, staff mentioned that my son room will do carpet shampoo. On the 4th day, staff mentioned again that my son room need to repair the sofa. I'm not happy with it cos if the room need so many issue to repair, then shouldn't rent out the room to us.

Carpets need to be cleaned and the bathroom fan not working.

Too much smell from the bathroom.

Our one week stay at Paco Hotel was exceptional. The staff were friendly, helpful and provided us with such good service that it felt like a home away from home . The location was excellent - just a 5 mins stroll to the zoo metro station. We travelled mainly via metro and got to experience the city a lot more . The breakfast buffet had a good spread n once again very friendly and efficient staff . The gym was not big but well equipped . Laundry service was another very exceptional service provided for guests at no additional cost. We cannot ask for more and highly recommend this hotel to anyone .

The location was unbeatable. There are two Paco Hotels in the same neighborhood, and the taxi took me to the wrong one. Be sure to tell the driver you're going to the one opposite the zoo and Metro station. Breakfast was a superior buffet and the mini-mart across the street was icing on the cake. The shopping center is just down the road. The metro or cab will take about five minutes. My hotel view was great. I was on the 11th floor and could see the mountains through floor to ceiling windows. If you do go in the summer months, the humidity is relentless. Don't forget deodorant like I did. You won't find a replacement.

I would've liked a microwave in my room. I didn't have internet since I forgot to activate them in the states. But I survived on cash (rmb). This hotel wasn't my first choice since I didn't factor in the time difference. That cost me. But this Paco Hotel has a great staff, an excellent location, and I plan to go back in the near future.

Extremely friendly staff, especially the guys at the reception who are always available to help and will do whatever they can to assist you. The hotel manager also helped us with our reservation. Overall, we are very satisfied. The hotel is in a good location. Thank you for wonderful stay!

The hotel staff were very friendly. They helped us keep the luggage there in the hotel so we could travel to Beijing light for 2 days. This was very helpful for us.

I like most things about the room. The cleaners were exceptional and the staff at the counter were good. The breakfast was also generally very good.

There is difficulty in operating the TV. Also it is difficult to find the English translation to the channels.

Hotel was clean and spacious. Staff was also very friendly and provided great services.

lighting was too dim where the luggage are place. Should create more wall hooks for travelled to hang the clothes like the space where the full mirror are

It’s old. Smell old and smoke.

The location was close to Line 5 metro station so it was good. The Cantonese speaking kitchen staff was very nice and polite.

The place is not clean at all! The carpet has never been washed as we can see the stains on the carpet. We tried to change to another room but it was the same.

The Staff were so friendly.Ms Mary was so helpful, and Ms Claire, and the night shiftThe location was near everything, including the city center.Facilities were reachable.

It has a very good location, the metro is right in front, the staff is very attentive and always willing to solve any problems. A special mention to Claire who took us to the fair every day on the bus with an excellent attitude.

The room smelled of tobacco but the next day they changed my room.
