Guangzhou Dong Fang Hotel

Rooms were clean, and the bathrooms luxurious. Beds are comfortable and gave me good rest. Duty Manager offered me complimentary breakfast due to the amount of days I was staying. Thank you so much!

The wifi was down twice for about half a day each. I had to go to the neighboring China Grand hotel to get work done. Some nonsmoking rooms still smell of smoke, so you might have to ask the front desk to exchange rooms.

The location was near recreation park, shops and metro station

This hotel should be downrated to two star, all the rooms are dated worn out, smelly carpet in the corridors the swimming pool had no water. over priced basic breakfast buffet not worth the price. 12 years ago was a nice hotel no more.

Excellent service, clean location & affordable prices

We attended the Canton Gift Show so location worked well as transit system is nearby and there were also buses direct to the show.

BEDS are VERY HARD. Their solution was to add a comforter under the sheet, which solved NOTHING. A memory foam topper would have helped a lot, but they did not have them. Older hotel - Some mold in bathrooms. 3 day trip, left 1 day early due to beds.

location

Staffs are very nice, xiao yi and xiao zhang are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a very good location, subway just 2 mins walk. Not too many restaurants in walking distance though, has a nice park across road. Room is clean, facilities a bit old but well maintained.

Hotel in the garden and two big general gardens are around it

The hotel doesn’t provide Halal food. The hotel under construction this time so a lot of noise and day time

We liked this hotel very much ..The front desk Jason is a very friendly and polite helpful person to helped and explained everything very details.Room is very clean and well maintained. Sure will come back again on Feb/02/2026 for tow more nights.

None…

I booked 2 rooms at once…The front desk name Jason is very helpful and polite friendly.

Very convenient location easy excess to restaurants, malls and busienss places.

The massage place on the ground level was excellent and so professional. The bar was very nice as well, drinks were strong.

Organized, good rated and healthy environment.

Guarding everywhere

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Jason at the counter was very helpful, they have upgraded my room and help with extending my stay and was kind enough to give me a late check out free of charge. The room is clean, spacious and quiet.

Convenient

In contrast to the neighbor China Hotel. The room is down graded and noisy due to the construction around.

Good

Transportation is very convenient, especially by subway, and it's also easy to get to the park. Very good. If possible, it would be even better if there were direct buses to Hong Kong and Macau airports, making it easier for guests to get around.

Not worth value for money

Break fast, staff, lift not working
