Eco Tree Hotel Causeway Bay

Location - very convenient to transport including the airport, eateries, supermarket & miscellaneous shops. It’s quiet. Both air conditioning & shower hot water are good. Liked the shower (don’t like bath tub with shower).

Room a bit small & can fit only 1 big luggage bag. Having said that it is perfectly suitable for a short trip of about a week.

Convenient location, fairly close to transit, but very close to good shops and bakeries.

Neighbourhood can seem a bit sketchy at night.

The place was central and had a lot of restaurants and small goods stores all around.Nice and friendly staff except for the front door person.

No extra towels, they had advertised a free laundry service but when asked they said they didn't have the service, to do it our selves ?

Proximity to convenience stores, supermarkets, restaurants, grocery stores, bakeries. Great too, that some of the restaurants were open from early morning for breakfast till late night for evening snacks. There's a lot of things at your door step which made it convenient to stay. Staff were also very friendly, and housekeeping were very accomodating of when to clean the room, as we had our baby napping throughout the day. Staff very kindly organised a crib with adequate bedding and a bathtub for the baby. Hong Kong was also unexpectedly warmer for that time of year that we travelled, so the strong aircon was nice, as was the cold drinking fountain on the ground floor. Some of the greatest restaurants we've tried were within walking distance. There's also a nice park on the other side of the wet market if you have young children who would like to run around.10-15minute car drive from Hong Kong station also made getting to and from the airport very ideal.

Not super close to a train station. Closet metro station was Fortress Hill, which was still about 5 minutes walk away.Street was also one-way only. Many of our Uber drivers who were directed by the maps incorrectly directed them to drive the opposite side of the road, from Electric Road, which made drop-offs inconvenient as many of them stopped further down the road to let us off.

It remained tidy and always smelled clean and fresh.

Complimentary bottled water isn’t offered each day; however, towels are changed daily.

Great location with many restaurants in the area, mtr, buses and trams nearby. Airport bus also close by.

The elevators took a long time to come. It often skips your floor, which made the wait longer. There is no option to take the stairs to the lobby. You have to take the elevator to get out. They were not flexible in my request to reduce my stay from 4 to 3 nights, although I requested the change nearly 1 month in advance.

Amazing amenities, huge space for Hong Kong.

Pillows smelled like the pillow cases were not clean. Staff seemed insincere.

The lobby/receiving area is a bit small. Repairs on leaking airconditioning pipes were being done at the time we were staying.

Late check-in. Room was only ready beyond 4pm.

Value for money! Location is good surrounding with restaurants and convenient stores. Close to public transportation like bus, tram and MTR. Having spacious room in comparison with other hotels with comfortable bed.

Not your 5 stars luxury hotel, but great location, helpful staffs, clean and comfortable room, close to everything, reasonable price. Will likely stay there again for a short trip next time.

Room air-con gets a little cold at times with the temperature adjustment not really working, hallway has no air-con which feels stuffy, never had to wait more than a minute for the elevator so it's not a big deal.

The room was impeccably clean, and the wifi was strong and reliable.

There was no way to get around the daily cleaning and no "do not disturb" sign to hang on the door.

- staff mostly friendly (few exceptions but oh well)- location- price- very clean. the room is well organized- fridge, kettle, hair dryer- treadmill

- the walls are paper thin. you'll be at mercy of your neighbors: you'll wake up when the first neighbor wakes up, and you'll sleep only after the last neighbor goes to sleep. In other words, your day will be 6am to 2am. good luck.

The rooms are standard size for HK, not too big no too small. The location is perfect, as you have the fortress hill mtr right close by. You also have the tram stop really close that it makes it easy to go to other areas of the island. There are several restaurants around and also shops like 7-eleven just down the corner from the hotel lobby. This is my third stay at this place and wouldn´t mind at all staying again.

Very convenient location. Good restaurants nearby. Easy access to the tram, airport bus, local buses, the Tin Hau and Fortress Hill MTR stations. Good size bathrooms. The front desk was helpful. The laundry across the street could deliver our clothes to the hotel.

The hallway was not air conditioned. The elevators were under repair during our stay. So the wait time was longer. The rooms have limited clothe storage.

Value for money. Quite a large space to open a luggage. About 10 mins walk to the metro which is quite convenient.

Relatively run down, although the room is quite clean.

Decent view from the room, nice and clean room with multiple useful amenities (such as air dehumidifier - this is a must for your stay in Hong Kong), great location close to East Coast Park and metro station

Staff could not speak English and were not very friendly (but this might be just a cultural difference in this region)
