Breakfast and staff

The return air grille where so stuffed with dust at. Main lobby and around the whole hotel. But that is me always looking at ductwork.

The front desk staff were very helpful, the housekeeping staff did an excellent job of cleaning. The room was small, but I guess that's not unusual for Hong Kong. The breakfasts were "okay" however the staff was extremely attentive and so very polite.

I know they worked hard, but some of the breakfast foods that should have been hot (or at least warm) were cold. The loop that they play continuously in the elevator was especially irritating. You would never want that for the hold music of a suicide hotline. Other than that it was a very good choice for my budget.

Excellent and responsive staff. Very clean. Great value.

Limited hours in the restaurant

The hotel staff simply put our lives at risk by not warning us that there was a level 10 typhoon and that all of Hong Kong was under curfew. In addition to returning to the hotel after a life-threatening trip, we were met with complete opacity to our situation and had to pay for another night (in reality, we only needed about 7 hours). Nothing was open, and the hotel didn't even check what they could do to help us. We had no food at all. We had to wait until the border with Shenzhen opened again. The situation was just extremely frustrating.

Good location and there is a very coffee shop next door.

The staff are outstanding. Ricky at check-in, and the ladies who cleaned the room were positive, affable, and very good at their jobs! Impressive.

Very surprised that being a hotel you cannot even adjust your own room temperature, they provide me a heater to maintain my room to a comfortable level, otherwise the temperature in the room is around 17°C

We really enjoyed our stay in the heart of Kowloon, Mong Kok. The hotel is close by everything and super practical. The size of the room was really good for Hong Kong. We had enough space and felt comfortable. The room was clean and we had a lovely view too. I also used their gym, which was small but enough to do a good hotel workout. Overall lovely stay !

A bathrobe would have been nice. In case of rain the hotel does not provide any umbrella, too bad for a hotel of this quality and price

Conveniently located near eateries

Vicinity is an old part of kowloon city with hardware shops.It's in between 2 mtr stations which require about 10 to 15 minutes walk

Pleasant and welcoming staff, helpful in answering our queries and requests. The beds (single) were so comfortable and spacious. There was even News channel like CNA! Wonderful!

Would have loved to have more English language TV programmes.

The foyer was beautiful, our room was standard, we had to pay 3 days of the new Govt tax.

Unfortunately, we had stayed in a much cheaper hotel in another country prior to staying at the Hilton Garden Inn, and the cheaper place left everything else very much mediocre.

Very central location. Good hotel with decent rooms. The coffee shop just outside the side door of the hotel is really good!

The breakfast was great and included heaps of options, including options for vegetarians. However the restaurant (for lunch and dinner) had only 2 very basic vegetarian options that were quite expensive for what they were (egg fried rice and some kind of small mushroom pancake). Since it’s quite hard to find vegetarian options in Hong Kong in general, it would have been good to see more options at the hotel restaurant, especially since they cater very well for vegetarians for breakfast. In addition, it’s strange that they have a restaurant but don’t have room service food available at all.

Clean and comfortable. Walking distance to mongkok station and night market. Nearby many amazing dimsum and eateries and supper.

Approximately 5 minutes walk to mongkok. Considered rather far for me.

The room was spacious and clean, and the staff was friendly. The location was excellent—minutes away from the high street—and the price was great. The room was quiet at night despite a main road on the side.

The surroundings were a little sketchy at night. The air conditioning was a little strong, and it took me some time to figure out how to use the thermostat. It took a little while to understand how to operate the lift, and it could have used some help or clearer signposting.

The air-conditioning in the lobby and general areas was much too cold. The bland music in the lobby and general areas was unpleasant. We thought a hotel of that size could have had a cafe for drinks and light meals.

Room is not quiet, can hear noise from up and down, left and right, especially from the corridor.

The noise. And I have requested, I need a room in the middle of the corridor, then I got one just out of the elevator! Obviously, the hotel taking my request as just a shit.

Property is on the road.. metro station is nearby.

View is not that good.
