Location, big rooms, service level top notch

Everything about The Upper House felt thoughtful, calm, and beautifully considered. The rooms are serene and impeccably designed, the service is genuinely warm and intuitive, and every detail makes you feel completely at ease from the moment you arrive. It's truly the best place I think we've ever stayed in the world. The location is perfect, with incredible views. A truly special place that sets the standard for hospitality, Natalie in particular was wonderful. We can’t wait to return.

The hotel has Stunning rooms with great bathroom facilities. The room designs are so well detailed. We stayed two separate nights in different studio rooms and both were outstanding.

Security was lax.The lounge area inside was small and offering was poorand the coffee prices totally unreasonable!You can get amazing coffee at Fuel @ Pacific Place for half the price.

The room is absolutely huge and spectacular. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The gym is out of this world and opened 24h. Room service is fast and actually very well priced too.

Honestly, nothing. Everything was absolutely perfect. Would a massive lobby be nice? Yes but the whole point of Upper House is to sacrifice a bit of common spaces in order to offer big rooms.

The decoration, views, quite room perfect to relax. The bathtub ambient is beautiful, can make the stay memorable.The restaurant in the rooftop is super chic, the room service options are great. The gym is small but enough as this is a boutique hotel. The shower is delicious.

Fabulous room with amazing view. Great view for New Year's Eve fireworks. Professional and lovely staff. Room so spacious and clean. Love the free items in the mini bar. And thank you for the complimentary room spray - I love it!

Rather disappointed the hotel doesn't have REN products in your daily amenities kit anymore as have stayed many times before and enjoyed REN products. There are no vegan options on your room service menu which is extremely disappointing. Chef kindly made me a gluten free tomato based pasta but this was not delicious and it was the only dish on offer.

It was decorated in a modern and pragmatic manner. Very clean, modern, comfortable. Almost every other evening staff leave us with some chocolate, cookies, one day even warm milk. Very close to everything. Location is unbeatable.

recently had the pleasure of staying at The Upper House Hotel in Hong Kong for one night and I must say, it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the excellent front office staff, particularly Leo, who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay.Leo was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that all of our needs were met and that we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, from recommending local restaurants to arranging transportation for us.The hotel itself was stunning, with modern and luxurious accommodations that exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, with breathtaking views of the city skyline. The amenities were top-notch, and we felt pampered and well taken care of during our time there.Overall, our experience at The Upper House Hotel was truly exceptional, thanks in large part to the fantastic service provided by Leo and the rest of the front office staff. To reach the rooms From the entrance to you first have to take an escalator and then the elevator with no other way in which made coming in and out the hotel very hard with a baby

It feels that the hotel is getting a bit old. Some rooms would need to be redone/remodeled. These are tiny details but many wooden parts are scratched, stained, cracked… looks live they have lived their best, but it’s time to freshen up a bit now.This is the only reason why I’m not giving 10.And first day, our room was quite smelly…?

Hotel is just 5 minutes walk from the MTR Admiralty station. Size of the Studio 80 Harbour view room is spacious. The windows are 2 way so you have to be properly dressed if you want to admire the view by the windows. All non-alcoholic drinks in the fridge including soft drinks/juices.. are all included. There are also the staples - kettle and coffee machine.Thank you to Booking.com for the complimentary breakfast, it was a nice surprise.

I was mostly concerned about the security of the hotel. Anyone and everyone can enter the hotel and use the lifts without a key card. The public restaurant is located on the top floor meaning the non-hotel guests can easily follow the hotel guests to their room without being checked.Since the windows are 2 way, we had to make sure that the curtains were closed before bath or getting dressed.The staff were always busy working on their iPads and rarely noticed our existence. While we appreciated the complimentary breakfast, it's not worth the hype.

Spacious and comfortable room with minimalistic interior. “Home away from home” vibe.

A couple of the hotel staff had a bit of an attitude/borderline rude. Did not expect that level of subpar service in an upscale 5 star hotel. The shower area also smelt off before using.

I was very satisfied with my stay. My flight arrived early so I got to the hotel at 6:00AM. I didn't expect to be able to check in and had planned to leave my luggage and explore the area. I was surprisingly informed that my room was ready, and I got a free upgrade. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious with a great view, very relaxing. The hotel prepared toiletries, toys, and coloring pens for my toddler and thoughtfully baby-proofed the room.

The only thing I didn't expect was that the crib provided by the hotel wasn't wooden but a playpen. However, I want to clarify that I didn't check with the hotel beforehand to confirm whether they had wooden cribs.

Amazing bathroom and tub! The view of the harbour is impeccable. Great for a short stay or staycation, close to Pacific Place and major MTR stations.

The price shown here isn't the final price! The hotel charges you an additional 10% on what is already a pretty expensive room.
