Hotel was very clean and the cleaning and front desk staff were friendly. The location was great as it was right by the TST subway entrance.

The concierge was not very helpful and the dinner buffet was WAAAAY too pricey for what it was.

Not cheap but worth every penny. I spent 8 nights there 30 years ago and it's just as nice.

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. From housekeeping to front desk. Food and beverage to restaurant and meetings, the staff were amazing.

Spacious and super clean room. Well-maintained facilities. Located in front of Victoria harbour which is an ideal place for morning walk/ run.

We got the farthest room from the elevator. The hotel is somewhat distant from main shopping area but MRT station is just a minute away.

no bidet ?

Unfortunately our early check-in request wasn't accommodated. We had an early arrival due to a cruise disembarkation. But since we had activities planned in advance we took advantage of the time before check-in. We were told we'd be informed when the room was ready. However, that didn't happen. see below

After finishing our planned activities we returned to the hotel after 3pm to "check-in" only to find that our room wasn't available, nor did anyone call after our earlier arrival. BUT, we were upgraded to a fantastic suite beyond our expectations!

Spacious room for our two kids to run around. Amazing view of the Victoria Harbor. Very courteous staff. Breakfast had lots of options. Getting a taxi was also convenient. The Christmas decors were also amazing!

Long waits at the lobby for a ride as it can get cramped with lots of vehicles. Driveway should be wider with dedicated areas for loading and unloading, and valet parking. But the attendants were very helpful.

We got the room we requested - full harbour view etcService was amazing - It's Shangrila after allLocation is ideal The hotel is top of the list

Only one electrical outlet on bedside so the 2nd phone has to be charged somewhere else. There is only one outlet to be used for the water machine and coffee machine. It’s a joke.

Did experience rude behavior from the staff . We stayed at horizon floor and the staff at lounge were rude when we wanted to explore the lounge even though not part of our booking . Reception staff were not helping and they seem to have a prejudice towards Indian visitors, they did explain the hotel facilities to other guests properly and hardly mention to us .

Great location for sightseeing. Elegant old world feel. Phenomenal service. Wonderful views. Club floor experience. Elegant spacious rooms and bathrooms.

Room: Beautiful unblocked harbour view room.Housekeeping: Keep our room clean the entire stay. So we tip them.Room service: Quite fast and they even offer to bring us the physical room service menu instead of the digital one that we find very ineffective. Very thankful for the staff - that is the Shangri-La hospitality that I always appreciate.Transit Orientation: Quite a bit of walk from the MTR towards Central but the good point is not so crowded and busy. Accessible to MTR TST East line which is convenient ride up to Shenzhen and vice versa. Also, there is a main bus station within the walking distance. It is not advisable to carry big baggage if you are using MTR in this busy area.Breakfast: If you have the budget grab it during your stay as there is not that many breakfast choices around the area.Location: Not a hustle and bustle area like TST, quite peaceful and serene. Just stone throw away from Avenue of Stars where you can enjoy morning run or evening walk if the weather is good.

Just one morning breakfast cook that showed sour face to my partner when he requested cook-to-order eggs. And the special arrangement I planned to surprise my partner due to our anniversary was not being arranged or the staff forgot.

Absolutely beautiful room, lovely view of the harbor

This is a very busy hotel, crowded. Breakfast is a noisy affair with crowds of people.
