Oasis Aurum 181 Hotel

Overall the hotel has met our expectations. The room was clean. The staffs were friendly. Best of all is the view, it overlooks the harbor.

The room lacks shelf space. Also lacks some basic stuffs like lotion.

The staff at every level was perfect. The housekeeping, desk, and baggage/door staff were all so attentive friendly, and efficient. They had laundry! The best experience I have had at any hotel and I travel quite a bit. I plan to stay again in the future.

There was nothing I did not like.

It's expensive! But that's HK I suppose.

Fantastic location! 5 minutes walk to the HKU MTR station and to very good dim sum, roast suckling pig/goose and beef noodles eating places.

The comfort in the room and the location

I ended up in one room with a connecting door and the couple nearby was a bit noisy in the evening...Having a restaurant would definitely be a plu for this place.I've found the breakfast too limited in terms of offer and definitely skewed towards Cantonese style only.

brilliant stay! it was my third time staying here, and i'll definitely come back. staff are friendly and always willing to help and make your life easier. room is clean. the shower is the best - high pressure shower head, very hot water available and spacious. the automatic blackout blinds are a great feature, and it was always fun pressing the button to make them go up and reveal the stunning view of the harbour.

the bed wasn't the most comfortable because the middle part of the bed sunk in a lot :( at my previous stay, i remember the bed was a bit too hard, and i didn't sleep that well because of it.

Fabulous views over the harbour from large windows in room. (Well worth paying g a little extra for the view)Easy access to trams and metro. Late arrival from NZ… Good restaurant - full as Valentine’s Day but we had drinks at bar whilst they cooked takeaways they offered for us to have in our room overlooking the harbour! Great service.

Nothing at all.

The location and sea view was outstanding as well as the service from all of the staff and especially Bruce who helped us with taxi etc.

Decent stay and spacious rooms but I believe we suffered from mold exposure!! Throughout the stay we slowly became more and more weak, lethargic and nauseous, we had no idea why but at the end of the trip I think it’s because we were being exposed to mold!!! (Please see photos). Overall staff are nice, the house keeper is very kind but will often forget to wash dirty cups, or she will give new towels but forget to take the old dirty ones..

It was right infront of the harbour, it’s a different view from the usual Victoria Harbour view and we loved the tranquility. (but might need to consider cleaning the windows a bit hahaha)

Great view from room………..we were upgraded to a top floor room with fab views of the harbour. Comfy bed and good pillows. Excellent bathroom and bath with a view of the harbour…..with privacy blinds if needed.Lovely breakfast spread with very helpful staff and nice omelettes.

I was floored with how accommodating and helpful the staff was. After a soul-draining 12h flight, an understanding smile truly makes a difference.As for the hotel itself, it's impeccable. The rooms are comfortable and pristine. Harbor side rooms at higher floors offer a rather soothing view. The area is great too, with multiple tram and bus lines, (including the airport line) around the corner, and an MTR station at a walkable distance. It is also rewarding to just explore on foot, with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants in the neighborhood. The nearby Belcher Bay Promenade in Kennedy Town makes for a very pleasant stroll by the sea.

The breakfast is surprisingly expensive, so we opted to eat out.

Great location and friendly staff. Compared to other accommodations, 181 was fairly less expensive for HK standards. The room was therefore also fairly big with a nice view into the city, modern design and nice amenities and complimentary snacks. We had a glimpse into a room with river view which was stunning as well! We didn’t try the in-house cafe that offers breakfast.

No mirror for ladies in the room. The only mirror was the one in the bathroom.

We stayed in the Harbour suite and the room was very clean, luxurious and spacious. The views from the bedroom were incredible.Great room and views to escape the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong.Just a shame we didn't have the views in the lounge whilst our baby was sleeping in their cot in the evening.But the wake up views make up for it.The complimentary self service laundry was a great bonus. Well maintained and clean.Special mention to Bruce Lui for going above and beyond to help us, always with a smile. Thank you.

Please refund our unavailed breakfast because you did not deliver on the buffet as stated.

They did not deliver on the buffet breakfast, but instead sent plated breakfast to our room. They served food that I am sensitive to, even if I informed them of my dietary restrictions. And so, we did not avail of the breakfast for the next two days of our stay BUT they did not give the refund.
