Good location, convenient, close to MTR station.
Zero closet space.
Great location, very close to bus stop and subway stations. Room is clean. Staff is polite and friendly
The shower head holder is difficult to secure, and water splashes everywhere
Very clean and modern
Bathroom doors is almost see through and does not lock/close all the way
Comfortable beds, clean and new rooms. There's a decent speaker w/ Bluetooth connectivity. Amazing location - close to all the central shopping and food spots in the city. Metro entrance is literally right outside the hotel entrance.
The King Room bed is actually two single beds put together, so the gap in the middle makes it hard to actually use it as one bed. The A/C points towards the head of the bed, and even though it's adjustable all of the selections still blow in your face. Really small room overall but the convenient location makes up for it.
The room is good enough. The bed is comfortable if you prefer a harder mattress, which I like. The bathroom is small, but suitable.
The bathroom sink is outside on the room, which is not per se a problem, but there was no place to hang the hand towels. If you have big suitcases, it is not possible to leave them open in the room - even closed they will probably be in the way. We had two carry on suitcases and two backpacks, and it was ok, but still a bit annoying that there was no proper space to open them. The location is close to the older city center. I would recommend staying closer to Kowloon Park, which is a nicer area to walk, or at Hong Kong Island.
The location was great!Great food was just downstairs.MTR was also right out of the doorstep.
The room was a little too small and cramped.
The hotel doesn't have a restaurant on site, but there are several noodle shops, bakeries, and a good diner (Fu Wah Cafe) right across the street. The location is a bit congested, but good walking distance to the Ladies Market, the MTR subway, and other shops and historical sites. The region is safe. Hong Kong is a hustling bustling city and there are hundreds of people out walking on the block day and night. The hotel was fairly quiet and I had no trouble sleeping at night (apart from jet lag). The rooms were not large but adequate, clean, and comfortable. I am a frequent traveler and was fully satisfied with my stay.
There was no chair in the room, other than sitting on the bed. But there really wasn't room for one either.
Stylish, clean and comfortable in a great location
The position on the map it says 6-8 instead of 68 and there is no water provided in the room
Room was clean, staff very helpful. Good shower pressure. Amenities such as toothbrush, shower cap, comb etc were supplied. Shower gel, shampoo & conditioner readily available in the shower. Only a couple minutes walk to Nathan Road to catch the A21 bus back to the airport which only cost 35HK dollars.
They are very strict with the check-in time of 3pm. Even at 1.30pm, we had to go out & fill in time until 3pm. But they will look after any luggage for you.
Everything important.
The canal is dirty, so if you're expecting a clear canal, you might be disappointed. Slightly disappointed with the breakfast, although we came right when it was closing.
Good quality for a fair price in an convenient location. Looking at other places for reasonable price, this seems like a real great deal. The room is obviously small, but very clean and neatly arranged, nice window view. On the other hand I had to wait a month (sic!) to get my deposit back approx. 125 EUR, apparently due to chinease new year.
The location is excellent- right next to MTR. I stayed on 21st floor- it was quiet, no street noise. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. Small things to improve- the floor was dirty with dust. There was no bottled water in the room. There was a fan that made noise all night long. Had to sleep with ear plugs. This was mentioned in other reviews- it really is annoying and makes it hard to sleep well.Overall the price was a lot for such a basic room. But it was a good place and aside from the fan noise, I would recommend it. Oh, it has a cute photo board in the lobby with local recommendations to visit in the area. This was lovely..
Fantastic central location, right outside a train station and behind the main street of the area. Various shops (supermarkets, fast food and family restaurants as well as malls and street markets) in a short walking distance.
Poor acoustic insulation; we could hear every small sound happening outside from the room above (faucet running, toilet flushing)
Excelent situation in the middle of Mong Kok with a MTR station literally 100m apart from the hotel’s entrace.
The location is in a working class neighborhood that is appealing for us to experience the Hongkong way of life. There are abundant of Chinese local restaurants and BBQ places. Great food and service. The MRT red line, entrance and exit is practically near the entrance of the Hotel on Portland street. You can walk everywhere on Nathan road in either direction. Nathan Street is a block away from the hotel. We also had a great view of Hongkong from the room. It was a corner room with good natural lighting.
The drainage smell from the bathroom could be managed better. The sink is outside the bathroom. And no closet space for your clothes. Just hangers that is provided on the wall.
Location was good, management extremely rude and unprofessional. Room was tiny (fair for central HK) but reeked of damp, upon complaining to management because the smell had got into our clothes, they tried to blame us for the issue. Reception staff were sweet.
Management/owner is extremely rude and unprofessional, really unpleasant and ruined our stay having to deal with them.Reeked of damp, upon complaining to management because the smell had got into our clothes, they tried to blame us for the issue as though we had caused the damp smell in less than 2 days!Room was tiny, but is the case for HKOne hook to hang coats, the other was broken. Had to pay for coffee in the reception area, which is a bit of a joke, to be honest.
Great location, friendly staff and room had fantastic windows so was nice and bright. Decor was more boutique than your usual hotel, but that was refreshing. Very comfortable for a few nights stay.
It was small and no storage space, but that is normal for Hong Kong
Location is on point, right outside MTR station exit A, reputable bakery and established beef noodles shop on ground floor, well-known cafe and fishball noodles directly opposite, 5mins walk to bus stop on Nathan Rd for A21 to airport, bed is very comfortable, shower water pressure very strong
No TV, lots of noise disturbance on corridor middle of night, lots of street-walkers stationed on pavements around hotel entrance, lots of old men loitering as well
Duplex suite is quite large ,comfort space a a large group of people (we have 9pax). Location is just right at the MRT entrance and close to A21 bus from the aurport and surrounding with good local food..
2 bedroom ,2;toilet with only shower. Dining table is on the first floor but kitchen counter is on the second floor..A bit hard for older people to use stair to second floor.Even with large fridge and large sink but no microwave provide.
