Friendly and helpful staff. Clean room. Great location to local cuisine, HKU metro station, and tram station is in walking distance.

Bang for your buck!! location was prefect for me. it's not in the middle of it all but close enough, which is prefect for me. the rooms were larger than expected, beds were super comfy. the free wifi and water was def a plus. Staff's friendly. Clean!

The location was prefect, it was right near a subway stop. The room was decent, it wasn't large but for the city it's in and the price I paid, I would have expected smaller. I thought the room itself was setup well with some interesting features

It was next to the MTR station entrance, but still a long walk to the actually subway. The room was a good size for Hong Kong.

The hotel is old and the fixtures in the room area are worn out. Everything wasn’t very well designed. The room was also not very clean and smelled off other peoples odours. Dust and dirt in places. I picked this hotel as it is afflicted with the Shangri-La so I thought the standards would be higher but they were not at all. Staff at the lobby bar are not friendly and made terrible cocktails.

Staff were amazing and care to our needs from room arrangement to arranging taxi ride to destinations. The location is also very convenient, just a food step away from MRT.

This hotel is unbeatable when it comes to accessibility. From the airport, bus A10 stops very near the hotel. It is close to the HKU MTR and the tramway. We had a pleasant time riding the MTRs and tramway. If only for that, I would definitely stay here again. Upper floors were under renovation so I didn’t give everything top scores. But I was informed ahead of time so I knew what I was getting into when I booked. The staff were very friendly and my husband liked the happy hour at the hotel lobby.

The aisles were narrow. The view from the hotel was not that nice (because we were in the lower floors). There was no bidet (well bidets are not usual in HK hotels anyways).

Professional and friendly staff, very clean room with comfortable bed. Good breakfast with a variety of choices. We were checking out very early to go to the airport and the hotel packed us breakfast before the restaurant was open.Good location, the hotel is across the street from the HKU metro station and a few blocks from the tram routes and direct bus to the airport. Good restaurants in the neighbourhood.We would definitely come back.

The hotel is in a great location, especially for experiencing Hong Kong Island. It’s very close to public transport, making it easy to get around. The room was spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

My room faced the highway, and despite being on a higher floor, some traffic noise was still noticeable. During my stay, the hotel was undergoing extensive renovation works, which I had not been informed about when I made the reservation. The pool was closed and there was intermittent construction noise during the day. Although the works had commenced well before my arrival, I was only notified shortly beforehand. Earlier communication would have been greatly appreciated, as it might have influenced my booking decision.

During my visit, the hotel was going through renovations. Some parts of the hotel were not available.

Location is good. Very convenient to public transportation.

Provide drinking water would be nice. Tap water is not recommended in HK. Don’t have time to broil water and wait for it to cool. Elevator is slow, long wait time and surprisingly NO AC or FAN stuffy as hell when outside temperature is at 90 degrees F.

Some of the facilities and furniture need a minor renovation or fixing: the wonderful window bench had stains on it, so I spread a towel to sit comfortably; the walk-in shower is too close to the entrance door; the drain hole in the toilet booth spreads a terrible smell.

Great location right next to the bars and restaurants in Kennedy. Comfortable bed and a big enough room by HK standards. Amazing staff who are so, so helpful.

Great location, close to many storms of public transport and easy to get cabs. Amazing local food options around. Comfortable hotel and great “home base” after long days of walking around. Comfortable room. Overall fantastic hotel and it is my go to place to stay when in HK (my 5th time there)

I like the location, lots of places to eat and not expensive. The staff is good and helpful.

The cleanings have lots of rooms to improve, especially the bathroom.. The daily room supplies are short and needed to call for replacement.
