Too small rooms and beds, but for those who travel for bustiness that’s ok

Amazing view over the harbour at night. Well located near bars & night life, harbour promenade and metro stations. All in all a very practical, value for money offering.

The hotel is very rigid with check in times, if you're arriving on an early flight it's best to book the pre-arrival night as well so that you can check in, shower have breakfast and rest.

Spacious room with great harbour view. The staff was very helpful when I realized I needed a charger in the middle of the night.The room is excellent overall.The location is great in some ways (view, just a few steps to a delightful promenade along the water) and a bit inconvenient in other ways (mostly because the tram and subway are 10-15 min walks away)

They don’t offer free toothbrushes. Instead one could only buy an entire amenity kit (that also included lotions that no one needs) from a vending machine. I don’t think I ever had to pay for a toothbrush at a hotel before. There also is no free bottled water, not even a single welcome bottle. That just seems stingy.Housekeeping is starting particularly early. You can hear work in the hallways by 9am. Due to a long travel day I was sleeping in and got a knock on the door around 11am asking when they can clean the room. I said “maybe later around 1 or 2?” And they said “is in 30 min okay”? I don’t think I have ever stayed at a hotel (of any price category) where the housekeeping is trying to finish before noon. While it never created real issues, I felt I needed to navigate around their schedule.

I didn't like anything except the front staff.

The restaurant and breakfast staff were just soo disrespectful. They would treat you as if they never wanted you in the premise such as cold attitude and rushing to take away cutlery and plates before you finish and once they even asked rhe payment right after taking orders. So so rude and untrained.

I like the front desk staff, they are very nice and helpful. Other staff is very helpful too such as the cleaning staff and the phone operater. The facility is clean and looks beautiful. Transportagion is also convenient.

I just hope the hotel can find a comfort way to let the customers be quiet at night, talking qietly and nit slam the door at mid night.

Convenient location. Short walk to the Hennessy, Lockhart Road area with many local food joints. MTR stations are about 10 minutes walk. Plenty of taxis along the main Road.Buffet prices in hotel are good value, comparable to a meal outside.

Small room. They may have bigger sized rooms.

No view of Harbour. Maybe I missed it but, prices for restaurant could not be found. Need laundry facilities.

Great location, professional staff. Just make sure you get a room with harbour view.

It was clean, friendly staff and nice restaurant It was in pretty close proximity to restaurants, stores , etcOnce we got the hang of the transportation system it was pretty easy to get around

Great location, in the middle of the distance to all points of interest, but also very close to Central and Causeway Bay. Metro station, but station - very close. Everything feels new and modern in the hotel.

The hotel is very conveniently located, just a short walk from the convention center, in a pleasant neighborhood with easy access to public transportation and several good restaurants nearby. Initially, I was given a room on the older floors, which was disappointing; however, after speaking with the reception staff, they kindly changed it to a much nicer room. The room was clean and well maintained, and housekeeping did a good job with daily cleaning. Breakfast was also good and offered decent value for money.

The room was quite small for the price, which felt a bit expensive overall. There was no free drinking water provided, which was inconvenient. It would also be an improvement if the hotel offered better-quality slippers and added more in-room amenities such as a dental kit, shower cap, shaving kit, and similar essentials. The breakfast menu did not change throughout my entire 8-day stay, with exactly the same food offered every day.

The location and harbour views were fantastic. Close to the MTR and the ferries going across the harbour.

Gorgeous harbor View, always quiet yet extremely central location, wonderful caring professional staff all made Harbour View YMCA our favorite place to stay whenever we’re in HK.

Room design - lack of adequate closet space & convenient storage even for experienced travelers like us, very hard uncomfortable seating in room for relaxing in room, or to enjoy the view. Furnishing like a big plain desk without any drawers or a good lamp is not useful placed in front of window, also not necessary when we all work with laptops & cell phones. Room amenities for making tea/coffee too minimal. We stayed 8 nights but hardly ever use our room to relax in. Alas!

Great views of the harbour. The room was quite spacious with plenty of storage and convenient bathroom with shower.

Breakfast plentiful but just ok.
