Shoreline Hotel

The room was comfortable and clean.The bed was comfortable.The meals in the dining room were great and I totally recommend having a meal in that area.The staff was friendly and polite.

Noise was so close to the road, the shower was old and needed a makeover.

Very good value and handy location to local shops as well as short drive to airport. Amazing shower pressure!!!

Our room was clean and well appointed. Comfortable bed and lovely view.

Real milk for hot drinks.

Microwave, crockery, cutlery provided. Bed was very comfortable.

Glass sliding door in the room was broken and did not open. Bathroom was clean as possible, but very dated. Was not aware when I booked the room that accommodation was a secondary function to the hotel business. Accommodation was at the back of the hotel close to the drive through facility. During the night rowdy hotel patrons were disturbing.

The bed was comfortable and it was nice that the room was made up each day

1. The pressure in the shower was awful and the temperature was either too hot or too cold2. We stayed in room 14 and there were constantly people sitting outside smoking and drinking 3. The glass doors were not tinted so people could easily see in so it was not very private

First, the location. it is convenient for us who are going to port Arthur, and just near the hotel is a Woolworths, so we can buy food and daily groceries there.Then the surroundings is very nice, beautiful scenery and quiet at night.Friendly staffs. Helps a lot and so patient.

Something is a little bit too old or broken, like a bed lamp and hair dryer. But still comfortable enough.

Well located hotel within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants & supermarkets. Very convenient for a flight from Hobart.Good sized room which was clean and very comfortable.Enjoyed a lovely meal in the on-site restaurant.

The location is exceptional with views across the Derwent River and to Mt.Wellington. It was good value for money, and the meals in the hotel cafe and restaurant was great. The staff were friendly and assisted us when we asked.

It was explained to us that there were issues with the hot water...a long wait from when you turned the tap on until you got any, and some nights it didn't last very long. This needs to be rectified ASAP.

Location was good! Shops across the road and easy access to Hobart and surrounds. Parking was good, right outside the door.

Thought the prices for food inside the pub were a bit on the expensive side! $36 for a simple fish and chips dinner is outrageous!

Good location (~15 mins away from CBD) and view, for a reasonable cost. Was pleasantly surprised to get a view the new year fireworks!

Hot water is a bit inconsistent and low volume.

Proximity to airport

The room and facilities looked dated . There was no hand soap in the room.

Close to airport, linked restaurant was ok

Shower was poor, no pressure and temperature very hard to regulate. The sofa bed was very very uncomfortable. One of the children refused to sleep in it so had three in double bed. One who did sleep in it woke up complaining of bad back. Needs a bit of an update in some areas room has gone beyond cleaning with some chair fabrics and the sliding doors were broken.

The location is ideal, close to a shopping complex. River views, park access.

Disappointing

Feels like a motel instead of a hotel. Location is further away from the beach and main issue is the room is at the back entrance, just not a good place to be in. The hot water system has issues, need to wait super long to hv hot water. One night there is no hot water! The door through to the back dont feel safe to open as is just too open close to the play ground. Not enclosed at all the hotel. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

The cleanign of the room - bed was made but glasses and mugs used were not washed. There was no room service.

Was I supposed to get breakfast?Bought what I wanted at supermarket next door

Board knocked out on veranda in ceiling.

Room was perfect for a little get away for the night location perfect and staff were friendly efficient

Position and beds

Skirting boad by door had water damage no hot water till the next day,power point hanging out of the wall, light not working above bed, toaster would not work if other electrical items turned on
