Rydges Palmerston - Darwin

TV did not work for first 2 nights of our stay. Staff were helpful trying to remedy the problem but it was only when a ‘specialist’ staff member returned to work on our 3rd day that the problem was remedied. Room only serviced once in 3 nights stay.

Bedside clock alarm went off twice after midnight and could not be unplug Bright light on TV when turned off

They didn't charge my card $300 last my previous stay. Called room service and was told 30-40min wait but food turned up early and was fabulous

House keeping, of changing towels every day and making beds. Cocktail hour

Restaurant could had a better menu, there was 6 of us and the menu did not appeal to any of us.

great location. excellent gym. good coffee and barista.

Rooms was lovely, facilities are great, the buffet breakfast was nice

Communication with the staff. I made it very clear leading up to the booking and at time of check in that I was staying here for my wedding and because they would not allow me a late checkout I was required to book both nights even though I was only staying the one. I needed to then checkout on my way out the door to my ceremony and because it was a day early they made it extremely difficult to check out.I also paid for us to have a buffet breakfast for the morning if the wedding and when we arrived to breakfast I was told no I only paid for the previous morning, despite not checking in till 3pm that said day. One staff member was lovely but the others were unhelpful and had no empathy.

Bed was comfortable, shower had good water pressure, very clean, cleaning staff were so helpful and lovely.

Lac of kitchen utensils, bins too small, no dishwasher. Poor cooktop had to use electric frying pan. Smart tvs in rooms would be good.

staff for amazingly helpful and friendly room was clean tidy and comfortable. I go to that place in Darwin.

Wonderful beds and sheets. Pleasant outlook over little green space. Free parking was great and property seemed secure and quiet. Housekeeping staff do a good job.

It's Darwin - in the tropics in the wet. Fans are needed. Mould in shower. Carpet is pretty horrible- tiles more suited to environment.

For the most part everythingbwas nice

Being awoken to a false fire alarm at 6am. No compensation or anything was offered. Basically a too bad so sad. Especially for.locals.

The reception had the smell of damp carpets which wasn’t very pleasant as a first entrance into the hotel, the ensuite shower was not cleaned properly as there was hair in the shower on the walls and on the floor and I was woke up a couple of hours after I fell asleep by a fire alarm that went off due to moisture sensed in the fire alarm which was a malfunction apparently.

Proper cleaning of shower, replace damp smelly carpet last in reception next time fire alarm goes off maybe offer free breakfast or lunch for all guests

Was really pleased with room, spacious, clean. I only stayed for one night after a flight but felt like I could have stayed longer. If you have a car it would be a good base to stay because it's close to shopping centres and services if you don't want to be in the CBD. Bed was big and comfy, facilities were good, room was carpeted.

Location great. Amazing bistro.Staff super friendly and accommodating. Entrance exceptional. Clean, odor free. Super soft bed and pillows. Fantastic shower pressure.

THE LOCATIONWAS GOOD FOR THE EVENT WE TRAVEL FOR. THE STAFF WERE VERY GOOD. THE CLEANING STTAFF WERE VERY VERY GOOD AND DESERVE A JOB WELL DONE FROM THERE SUPERVISOR.

It was convenient to where we needed to be during the stay.

It was dirty. The towels are threadbare and our hand towel even had tears and holes in it. The benchtops/desk and the carpet… ughh…the food was disgusting. Yesterday’s hash browns reheated and savory mince that was clearly on the way to being out of date is just not good enough. The burgers for room service were possibly the worst I’ve ever eaten. (Well I didn’t eat mine to be honest).

The beds were super comfortable as were the pillows. Quite. Pool and bar.
