This is a great hotel, not being maintained properly.

The bath had a stain on it, the phone didn't work and some guy had to come into my room with 'the good remote' before Netflix would work.

The staff were exceptional Location was great

The room is run down, no kettle in room which staff fixed up. No lights worked in the 2nd bedroom. The shower door seal was hanging off so bathroom floor was saturated.

The hotel is walking distance to restaurants and even supermarkets like woolies and Coles.

Property is very conveniently located in the Darwin City next to the Bicenntenial Park. Main tourist attractions are located nearby. Supermarkets are also located at walking distance from the property. Swimming Pool was great. 24 hours reception services were available.

We were upgraded??? But I think it was to make room for other guests as it wasn't an upgrade at all. We were meant to have 2 beds, ended up with 1 and supposedly had city views but it was of the hotel across the road.

Bed was nice and comfy, room was spacious and clean. Water was nice and hot.

Staff are exceptionally friendly.Beds and pillows awesome.the garden is outstanding.

The lifts didn't work and when they did they made very scary noises.The rooms are very old and worn, tap fell off in the bathroom sink, bathtub took ages to drain. In our second room - moved due to bathroom issues, there was no exhaust fan in the bathroom and only one light working.Paint is peeling everywhere and generally speaking the whole place is old and tired, needs a good clean up.

The wifi in our room didn’t work, carpet was stained as well as the furniture and the room/hotel had a very stale smell about it. Lift did not feel safe and on one occasion took a couple minutes to open.

It was amazing having a gluten free station at breakfast. It’s difficult to get any gluten free but to have a dedicated station was excellent. Thank you. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Having to have a shower with the bathroom door closed so as not to set off the fire alarm with the steam. Because the steam is then trapped in the bathroom everything becomes wet and it’s very annoying and not something you’d expect from an Accor property. When I checked in there was food in the fridge and a half full wine glass on top of it, the soap container in the shower had hair on it. The curtains are falling off. There are only 3 coat hangers in the wardrobe.

My son got sick in the middle of the night. It was awful. He's never been that sick, but we'd eaten locally and must have had food poisoning. I tried calling reception 3 times over 10-15 minutes - it was always engaged. I had to call my husband home from his friend's birthday at 12:30am because I couldn't leave the room and didn't have anything to clean up the mess.We were given spare bedding, and after the third request, a couple of spray bottles. I am so sorry to whoever had to clean the bedding. I would never have left it in that state, but I had nothing to clean up with. We had to scrub the floor and bed with the hotel towels, which is just horrible as these are for people to bathe with. I wanted to clean up (I would never have asked anyone else to do it), but no one would help or could give us any cleaning supplies. It was the worst night.

location is perfect, very close to a lot of nice restaurants and bars. some rooms with a nice view of the ocean, ours had the inner courtyard of the poo and trees. very pretty. the staff were very friendly and helpful

the aircons were almost too cold. not a bad thing just freezing. upon leaving we did one last check of the room to make sure we didn’t forget anything, we found half a sandwich under the bed. definitely not ours. just very random.

The damp mouldy smell as soon as you walk into the front door of the hotel. Up in the rooms everything was very dated, dirty from age (having my baby crawling on that floor was ick), the pillows were crazy uncomfortable, the sink leaked water out everywhere in the cupboard below, zero PowerPoints in the second bedroom of our 2 bed apartment.
