    Pros +

    • The room was perfect size for a 3 night stay. The facilities and fridge were great and used well.Darwin isn't a large place, but this hotel is perfectly located "just outside the CBD".
    • Good rateGood staff good location quietClean
    • Good location if you don't want to be right in the city. The pool area is good.

    Cons -

    • The aircon seemed to struggle - but with 80% humidity outside I think anything would! The carpark was great, but I missed out on a space on my last night and had to park outside of the premises. Although the area seems safe, I'd be happy to pay a fee in the future to secure a carpark.
    • The bed is too hard
    • Overall, everything was good. There were no major issues during the stay, just minor things that could be improved, but nothing that affected the overall experience.

The property was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and all basic amenities were provided. The location was convenient and quiet, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay.

Clean and comfortable. Great value for money! Excellent location just next to the CBD but off the main road sp felt quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful. I really liked the shade over the pool, meaning you could relax in there out of the sun.

Bed was comfortable and friendly staff.

Aircon clicked and made noises all night, which caused a little sleepless night. Room smelt like smoke, not sure if someone was smoking on the outside, but there was a sense of smoke smell when entering the room.

We get to have a comfortable stay; a very friendly vibe and accessible area. Easy to come to.

Since I am an Asian, maybe provide a a choice of asian foods mainly rice at breaky.

Location, very close to cbd. Car park, secure, gates locked after dark. Quiet. Pleasant view from window. Elevator.Mini kitchen, sink, microwave, fridge, kettle, cutlery, plates, etc. Tea, coffeeOff season, so the rates were low.

    Cannot think of any negatives,

Loved our stay at Vitina. No nonsense hotel, everything you need for a short stay and well located. Options for rooms with or without cooking facilities and staff were very nice.

Not much to say! Breakfast was perhaps lacking a bit, but for 5 bucks it is hard to complain!

The car park was good and we liked the private outside chairs and table

Ww stayed during the wet/low season and continental breakfast was disappointing - instant coffee and no GF bread or cereal although this was advertised.

I loved the spacious room, secure car park, kitchenette and just the general atmosphere. It's relaxing

A few changes I saw in this trip. Every second day was room service but there was no spare towels or garbage bag placed for changing. Would appreciate it so very much

    Staff good, close to city.

Noise from some of the other rooms

    8MaykePosted on: 1-6-2026

It's a motel just outside the city centre. About +- 15min walk from supermarket and city center area (shops, pubs). They have a on side parking area, good for if you have a car. The pool is clean. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. There is shared kitchen (there is a BBQ at the pool, didnt use it), but the better rooms have a fully equiped kitchen(recommend), which is handy if you don't want to go for diner or lunch all the time (Austalia is expensive). Good value for money. If you want relaxed quiet time. For meeting people book a hostel. In low season it is quiet.

Not so good for solo travellers if you want to meet people.

Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Nice suite complete with kitchenette. Probably the very best bed mattress of my entire trip - really top quality. Overflow parking provided just outside the gate, so no real concerns even if the main parking area is full upon arrival. The pool was wonderful for a dip in the day's heat or evening until 22:00. The Woolworth's in Darwin centre is a 950m/13 min walk, so quite easy to even walk there for anything you need (basics, ready meals, wines...). Overall, a fab place!

The breakfast didn't appeal - also because only powder/instant coffee was being offered. But, the nearest cafes for real coffee just about 300m away.
