The size and appointment of the room, and the balcony was a lovely addition and unexpected. The service was excellent and the shower had great pressure.

The airconditioning did not seem to be responding and the fridge in the room didn't get quite cold enough (read 8 degrees). The cooked buffet breakfast while tasty, was cold.

The staff were so helpful, the accommodation was very clean and spacious, and the rooftop pool was a definite highlight. We loved it!

We had a music gig booked at the hindley street music hall and the location was perfect.

Parking wasn’t included so allow for the extra cost.

The staff were helpful and quick to respond to questions I had. They also went above to accommodate my request, which made life a lot easier. I loved that when I had to call I was able to get through to someone right away - shout out to front desk!

Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, we ordered room service for dinner and the meals were great!

House keeping knocked on our door and tried to enter at 9.00am saying reception had advised we were checking out early but they had the wrong room number

Breakfast is fantastic and great variety but today it must have been out for a while as was cold. But we did wake up late so if you go early it would be hot and amazing

We stayed here a lot for concerts in the city. Easy car parking with walking distance to everything in the CBD

Can be a bit nosey on Friday and Saturday as on Hindley Street.

Bed super comfy and linen lovely. Room seemed really big. Air con just ok - it was over 40 degrees so I think it struggled a bit - so would stay again.

Just the struggling air con really. But not often its 40's I would assume.

Our room faced the main road so we could hear motor bikes, fast cars (it was a Saturdays night) …not the fault of the property!

The floor in the room was really uneven! Like they placed carpet over concrete rubble! Bed and pillows were pretty uncomfortable. Breakfast was okay, not great.

I loved everything about this place. Very clean, generous sized room, comfy bed, great basement parking and a lovely rooftop swimming pool big enough for early morning laps and with plenty of seating around the poolside with views of the city. The breakfast was also amazing!

The bed was very comfy. The room looked lovely and I really liked how the body wash etc was refillable to save wastage.

The air conditioner was not working very well, if at all. In the restaurant at tea time, our drinks only came mid way through our meal.

We stayed on the package including breakfast and parking. I was a bit concerned that it could be a less comfortable of their rooms on this package but that was not the case. Our room was fantastic. The included buffet breakfast was pretty good. The rooftop pool is not to be missed. Architecturally it is impressive and it seemed the chill had been taken off the water. Some reviewers mentioned that the location is on the edge of the entertainment precinct. We stayed 5 nights, including over a weekend, and it wasn't a problem at all. In fact the location was perfect. The hotel is right next to the Jam Factory Arts Gallery. Walk 200 metres down Hindley St and you're in Rundle Mall. One block away from the hotel is the free tram which will take you to most of the places you would likely want to visit. Good work Rochford Hotel, keep offering this package, its a winner.

Comfortable, cozy

Access to water, no where to fill a water bottle or get water other then bathroom tap and the water taste really bad and is not drinkable. Bought my own water but once ran out couldn’t do anything. Also water should be free

Great location and close to Adelaide attractions, shopping etc… The roof top pool was excellent! Our room was reasonably clean and spacious and overall very comfortable. Also really loved the bar and happy hour deals! Breakfast was also delightful! Definitely would stay here again.

The facilities were great, the rooftop pool is awesome, parking was great and the breakfast exceeded expectations.

The area is close to the "night club district" of Adelaide though that did not really cause any issues for us.
