Nightcap at Hendon Hotel

Close to concert venue. The staff were very nice and friendly and the information they gave was great.

Room was mostly clean but there was a nasty stain on the drapes

Shower was pretty bad. Minimal pressure. We told the cleaning staff who serviced our room.

Aircon didn't work properly, no ventilation in room ..

To start with, no one is expecting this to be a four or five star experience. It's not much to look at from the outside and you can easily drive past it. But within its rating level, the Nightcap at Hendon was exceptional. The accommodation had everything you could hope for, the room was spacious, the air-conditioning worked very well - it was up to 43 degrees outside during my stay - the staff were very customer focussed and the meals in the pub downstairs were very good value for money.I was visiting Adeliade for very sad reasons and had requested a quiet room. They delivered and I was able to spend my alone time the way I needed to.I highly recommend this hotel to stay and even to visit just for a meal.

Bathroom shower etc were tiny, no light in vanity area. Much nicer rooms for same price at other nearby hotels

Familiar surroundings, I lived in the area for about a year. Friend lives across the street. Staff were nice and attentive and friendly. Room a bit small but good comfortable bed

we order the Rump steak cooked Medium & the steak was almost impossible to eat,very tough.

Super-friendly, helpful staff made us feel very welcome. It’s a bit out of the city centre but on a bus route. The room was clean and comfortable and we enjoyed our stay. Good food and a late bar.

Would have been good to have somewhere outside to sit and relax other than a zone for smokers.

The staff were very nice and kind.

We requested a clean room and end of the day when we came back, the room was not vacuumed.

Heads up bring your own pillow as a man that will only sleep on a duck down pillow and travels with world wide , I was fine the better half not so much The staff are lovely, I don’t do this stuff write reviews unless I’m bagging some numb scull Service with a smile and they were the best ever , I know I’m a rock star and your not I’m not sure if that is a thing , it’s a fact Again the staff all of them could not have been more friendly helpful and giving us free coffee or biscuits Love ya

Nothing relaxing an safe

Staff are fantastic, down to earth, they go above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable during your stay unlike Nightcap Ramsgate at Henley Beach.

No airflow at any night cap hotels that I've stayed at.

The walls were so thin I could hear the conversations, phone calls and what they were watching on tv of the people in the room next to me as if I were in the same room. These people were actually awake and talking ALL night and I wasn’t able to sleep because of it.The smart tv wouldn’t connect to the internet so no access to streaming service.

Clean comfortable room.

Kitchen was closed for renovation, and we were unable to have dinner or breakfast on site. We expected that a pub would offer this and would not have booked if we had been made aware.

Bed comfortable staff were friendly.

The drains gurgled ALL night and kept waking us up. Water in toilet kept rising then draining again. Was very noisy all night.

The very modern laundry facilities were good although some guests were using them at 0200am in the morning. The noise travelled up the hallway. Maybe they need to set some rules for the guests. They do not offer food on Sunday and Mondays. Although there are some choices for food in close proximity of the hotel. The hotel is showing age.
