    • Breakfast was reasonable but not great or different. The bar Garcon Bleu was excellent with a most helpful and engaging Barman
    • Location is great
    • The location is very close to the city center with restaurants nearby. The pool is nice with a beautiful view of sunset.

    Cons -

    • The reception staff were a bit perfunctory. The location was not great at the grotty end of Adelaide CBD with lots of spaced out young people around midnight on Saturday night.
    • Seemed very expensive, and a 2 night minimum during the week can be limiting. Also, there were no USB ports in the room and we didn't bring any alternative chargers, so that was disappointing.
    • It was minor; we had a couple of requests unfulfilled.

Just about everything. The staff was wonderful. Pleasant and very helpful. The bed was very comfortable. The room was spacious. The location was convenient.

Dinner at the restaurant wasn’t that great. Not bad but narrow choices. It tasted good. The service was good. Just slightly disappointing.

The lounge is excellent. The staff are always super friendly and genuine. The chateaubriand at the restaurant is exceptional.

Location and facilities are prime. It is just next to Leigh Street where all good restaurants are and very close to other attractions in the city. Everything is within walkable distance.

Housekeeping would need some improvement. The first day we check in there were no coffee pods. After 2 nights of staying, we decided to change the old bathrobes so we put the dirty ones in the basin along with used towels. However they did not give us new robes or fail to notice that so we have to ask the concierge to give us some. In both situations the concierge was fast to send staff to replenish what we need.

Breakfast was excellent with a very good range of fod and drinks. Location was very good. Sarah (chef at breakfast time Saturday, Sunday and Monday) was very friendly, most helpful with advice on how to locate tram stops. She was also very kind in accommodating with how I liked my poached eggs cooked!

I found the floor in the shower recess extremely slippery and used the bath mat to stand on while showering , then had to use a both towel as a bath mat. There was only 1 paper sanitary bag which was not replaced after I had used the first one. I did not find the day bed very comfortable. I would of liked an arnchair to sit in to take in the view (to the west) and watch the sunset.I was very unimpressed with room servicefood. I ordered a club sandwich and sparkling mineral. The food was delivered without any cloche over the cold club sandwich with a lot of chips which I did not order and did not eat. A plate of fresh fruit was almost unedible as all of the fruit was unripe, rock melon, honey dew melon, pineapple (sour) and strawberries also hard and no flavour. the tray was not removed from my room until an inspection team was doing rounds at about 4.00pm. the next day. I chose not to eat in the main restaurant.

    Good location

Had a strange man come into our room On Friday night after he was given a room key in envelope with room number from reception. The manager on duty passed it off as a mix up as we both had same surname.I can guarantee from our extremely different ethnicity that we do not share a surname.

Breakfast was absolutely amazing. Anything that wasn’t there that you wanted, the chef would cook fresh for you:-) For example there was no poached eggs or hollandaise sauce chef cooked me fresh poached eggs and some fresh hollandaise sauce. It was delicious.

The only thing my partner and myself didn’t like was the coffee up in the room.

    Amazing experience and will

Didn’t feel like our room was cleaned throughly. Table dirty, tv dirty and vanity dirty. Apart from that it was great

The hotel is lovely, and the rooms are comfy. But unfortunately, I didn’t sleep well because there were roadworks across the street that were going into the night.

Great hotel, noisy in room 1111 on a Saturday night, would’ve liked a higher level ideally. Woke up at 2am to doof doof music, otherwise great, excellent room and room service good. Small champagne pours in the bar but otherwise good! Would stay again. Just noisy location if on a lower level on a weekend.

We enjoyed one night at the Sofitel as a little getaway. The location of the hotel is excellent. We were very impressed with the staff, they were all so friendly, helpful and efficient. We appreciated an early check-in. We also had a beautiful evening having dinner at Garcon Bleu Restaurant. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at the Sofitel.

The hotel was lovely and great facilities. Nice pool and gym.

There was urine on the toilet seat in our supposedly freshly cleaned room. Not sure how that happened. Then in our hotel slippers there was a disgusting clump of hair/skin. Apart from those it was a lovely stay.
