This was our second time staying here. Such a unique spot in the region — nine little blue cabins tucked into a leafy basin. Breakfast was included, with milk and juice in the fridge, plus cereals, bread, butter and jams. There was even some wine to try! Michael dropped off fresh croissants at our door every morning (still kicking myself for not taking photos ?). The kids loved spotting birds on our balcony in the afternoons.

The whole experience was one we will truly remember. Montville Country Cabins has become our favorite holiday destination to date. From the generous complimentary condiments, not to mention baked croissants every morning, to the beautiful scenery from every window especially the bed. The abundance of wildlife surrounding you all times of the day, the spa bath, fireplace, bbq and coziness of the cabin was the best spot for relaxing and rejuvenating. Michael and Karen are incredible hosts.We will definitely be back ?

Absolutely everything! Michael was so welcoming and the hit croissants every morning were amazing! The spa overlooking nature was so relaxing and the BBQ packs with the hot foil wrapped potatoes was exactly what we needed for our first night. I could not rate this place highly enough and we will definitely be back!

That I had to go home back to reality!

The fresh crossiant delivery every morning. It's so peaceful and quiet and the perfect place to unwind. Michael was amazing to deal with and nothing was too much trouble.

The quietness

There were big ants all through the bathroom, dropping out of the windowsill, in the shower, covering the toilet. We ended up having to block the door with a towel as they were crawling into the room. And from no fault of the owners a tree came down and took out the power so for half of the weekend we were blocked in and had no power, which meant no hot water, no cooking facilities, no lights nothing. We didn't pack torches so we sat in darkness once our phones died. Although this wasn't the fault of the owners they offered no compensation, no hot coffees, nothing.

The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating. The breakfast hamper was awesome along with the spa bath! The fresh croissants each morning were amazing and the beautiful scenery was great.

No tv channels however the dvs’s in reception were good and it was nice to disconnect. Also no wifi so not very good phone connection if any so I would suggest doing some downloads prior.

Who wouldn’t love a cabin in the middle of the rainforest. Listening to beautiful bird calls and the sound of a trickling a stream. Feeling like you are one with nature. The cabins are separated apart from each other with forrest between them leaving you feeling secluded. The owners are lovely. We have stayed at Montville Country Cabins for 4 Easter’s in a row now and plan to stay again next year.

Absolutely fabulous complimentary breakfast and we supplemented with the cooked breakfast pack, which fed us all very well.Owners were amazing, and helped us with anything we needed.

Sofa bed not fabulous, but for the overall price, it was okay.

The most secluded property in the rainforest We were in Harmony and it was harmony The spa bath was so relaxing looking out on the rainforest BBQ on the verandah my advise is don't eat outside there are around 6 kookaburras who will pinch your food ?

Found the cabin damp and a bit tired.

Beautiful property. Private. In nature. Big spa bath. Fire place. Full kitchen if required. Lovely views. Fresh bakery treats for breakfast... wish we stayed longer.Close to town and everything on offer.Kind staff. Easy access and leaving.Loved it.

Could do with an upgrade. Did have school camp vibes with the lino floor and metal bed and weird cupboards with coin dispenser and slatted bench? Odd... felt churchy?Old towels and beddingCould do with a freshen up...

MCC was so beautiful! The scenery was so green, the local produce that the owners left was so thoughtful (and delicious!) and the entire experience was so cosy and relaxing. Not to mention how helpful the owners were as well. We cant wait to go back during winter and experience MCC in all it's glory.

The location, the serenity, the friendly hosts. Such a beautiful place to escape the world for a while.

Not long enough.

Friendly owners Karen and Michael were so pleasant and helpful. very peaceful and relaxing surrounded by nature, clean cabins with plenty of provisions. Loved the cheese platter and also freshly baked croissants each morning. We ordered a bbq pack which was delicious. Highly recommend Montville Country Cabins.

My partner and I stayed here and had a lovely time. Michael and Karen were so lovely and welcoming. The cabin was beautiful and so quiet. Would definitely come back

Surrounded by nature can hear the sounds of nature all throughout the day and night, had a level of privacy between each of the cabins. Loved the details of snuggle pot references throughout the cabin. Cabin was cozy and clean. The breakfast hamper and croissants were nice.

Management were super proactive, friendly, and helpful. They were available promptly and were very easy and pleasant to deal with, and demonstrated a clear and professional understanding of things. Absolutely give this place a shot.

Only thing I didn’t like was that there was no bug spray for the spiders hahah
