Coolum Budget Accommodation

I love how close the accommodation is to the beach with a walkable distance to shops.

Very hot on nights with no rain and quite a loud fan - but I still felt safe considering the price.

Location is good to walk to beach, shops and restaurants. We stayed for one night and it was all we needed. We wouldn't have stayed longer.

The room really does have an unusually strong smell of bleach. The pool didn't look inviting so we didn't use it. It was the cheapest room we could find last minute but I still think it's expensive for what it is.

It was quiet. Facilitues were very good. Staff was lovely.Clean sheets and towels.

Room needed a good clean. Bleach would help for bathroom and floor. Had to ask for toilet paper as the roll was nearly empty on arrival. Only one pack of biscuits supplied.

Clean room. Not far away from bus stop. Can go to the airport by bus from there However, need to check the schedule You can cook Fridge is there

My room is on the 1st floor Walk to the bathroom TV does not work and WiFi is poor in some areas

It’s literally a brothel, the rook wasn’t cleaned and then when we ask to have it noooed and cleaned they arrive to our room at 9:30pm to mop. We said for tomorrow as we are asleep. Wasn’t mopped and when asked was told that it was done. But we had put towels on the floor that were still there and floor still a mess

Well priced compared to others locally.

During our one night stay we saw small cockroaches, because of this I had a terrible nights sleep. I imagined them crawling on me in the night. There was a lack of power points for charging multiple items. There were none on either side of the bed.

Wifi not available in room.Shared bathroom a tad sketchy.

A very cute little place to stay, nice and clean and had everything we needed. So much better value than staying at a hostel in Noosa!

Nothing about the motel but the beach across the road was the thing i liked

It was so dirty like seriously disgusting in the hole motel needles found in the bathroom

Great location easy to access, good value and close to Coles

That the kitchen be open at he time is says it's going to be open on the sign at 5am and not have someone open it at 9am when you have to check out at 9:30am

Nice pool and walking distance to beach and shops.

No aircon. Only some channels worked on tv due to aerial.

Beds were clean and comfortable. Bathroom clean, good water pressure in shower. Air conditioning worked well. Little benchtop fridge.

Pool was not very clean though noisy filter going 24hrs, but public pool short walk away & beach short drive so didn't need pool.

Price was right.

Room needed a good sweep and smelt too much of bleach.

It was exactly what we needed at this time. Clean, tidy and comfortable accommodation at a budget price. It met our expectations.

There was absolutely no water pressure in the shower. It took quite a while to get the temperature balanced and it was like showering under a very light mist.

Location was great and the room was comfortable enough for the price.

The room had an intense smell of bleach or cleaning products. I spent the first night with terrible headaches from the smell. Due to this incident stay for the second night. I told the staff and sent an email about this. I wasn’t offered any compensation or discount. Clearly it didn’t bother them very much. If someone stayed there with any kind of respiratory problems it could end very badly for them. I wouldn’t recommend any friends to book here based on this. I’ve stayed at 100s of hotels in my time and in most cases a hotel would do something to rectify any issues raised. I guess it’s budget and you get what you pay for.

The beds were lovely. The males who used the communal showers said they were great and the males up stairs said was lovely to have toilet and shower on that level.

I stayed in room 3 unfortunately the power switch for the TV was off and I couldn't reach to turn on. The 2 males in room 2 said the shower head didn't work very well. Others didn't advise.

It was close to the beach and was a short walk to cafes, coffee and everything in between.
