BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park

The amenities are exceptional. The whole park was so clean and tidy. I would go back just to sleep the beds in our room were so comfortable. Staff were so friendly.

I originally booked a room for 4, however, due to unforeseen circumstances I ended up needing an extra room or bed because I had an extra childI called the property to explain my dilemma and asked if it was possible to book an extra room or add an extra bed to the already booked room and of course I was happy to pay the extra amount required - unfortunately the hotel was fully booked and due to safety reasons they were unable to add an extra bed in the existing room - I then asked that I might get a refund of at least the second night given that I had given them a reasonable amount of notice to which they rudely refused.booking.com also acted on my behalf to try to get some of the fully paid reservation back but it was to no avail- very unprofessional and unreasonable

We went to the water park on the day of our arrival and when we sat on a lounger cockaroaches came out! Staff kept trying to close some of the slides stating they were short staffed! The mattress in the room was that thin that my son awoke with red marks across his back. Very loud room right next to the highway.

Love that there is more than just a bed and bathroom...huge pool, waterslide park, games room...nice and clean , great cafe for breakfast by the pool, excellent for families

Food in the Cafe was great, room was a good size and clean

Gotta see to that mould in the shower. Washing your hair and your stairing straight at streaks of black mould in the grout deffs gives you the ick. For us bed was ok a little too on the soft side. On the highest setting the fan needs seeing to also

Clean, most staff were happy and polite

Staff’s response when I handed key back in and asked why I was not told the room was right next to busy motorway and could hear the traffic loudly all night. The staff member didnt seem concerned and was just like “oh ok” and that was it.

Oh my goodness we were upgraded from a hotel room to a villa which was bigger than our home So made our holiday extra special thank you so much

Wonderful venue with so much to keep the kids entertained. Great facilities including laundry and café.

Nothing we didn't like but would be great if there was some sort of gym facilities available. We were from out of the country so didn't have access to the local gyms.

Very family-friendly, close to Dreamworld, pet friendly. We appreciated the onsite kennel service for our dogs.

There’s so many activities for the kids.

I think the pool is too deep specially for the kids. No tv in master’s bedroom. It’s a bit smelly in the toilet.

Pool and water park were good

At $270/night i expected more from our cabin which needs updating, mouldy shower, grounds staff were rude, to many blind spots nearly hit a bike rider

The accommodation was great for the family. Plenty of space and well looked after. The facilities were great for all the kids to enjoy.

The cost of staying there is creeping up to prices of 5-star resorts on the Gold Coast. Makes it hard with big families looking for places to stay.

Pool and water park were awesome for the whole family. Great location close to the Amusement parks.

The hotel rooms are comfy, and the pool and water park were amazing! Kids love the train ride and the bicycle ride. A lot of fun stuff to do both inside and outside the facility.

The freezer of the refrigerator inside the family motel room was full of ice; it would be better if it were defrosted. Cockroaches were visible within the rooms.

Very child focus, lots to do with the family, children enjoyed all faciluties while the adults relax knowing kids were safe.

We stayed in bungalow 2, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The pool and waterpark are awesome. Nibbles cafe has good coffee and we had breakfast and dinner there multiple times, delicious.

Excellent pool, amazing waterslide area - fantastic for primary-aged children. Helpful staff. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Excellent location less than 10 min drive to Dreamworld. It was a super easy and relaxing stay.

There was noticeable traffic noise at night due to its location. But as long as you know to expect that, it's not a big deal.

The pool area and slides were amazing.

The beds and pillows were quite uncomfortable.

The rooms were serviced each day with fresh towels. The slides and pool was lots of fun for the family. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Lots of kids riding around unsupervised and some with no lights at night. Rental bikes right next to car park a bit dangerous.
